The staff was prompt in getting us a nice table with the kid, getting the food and drinks.
The food was really good, especially the drunken noodles. We also got sea bass which was great for the kid. Chicken skewers were amazing as well.
It’s a spacious restaurant and usually not crazy busy, so you can find a table. I will certainly go back.

I wanted to be more expressive but my tummy is full of good food. However, out of all the Thai restaurants that I have tried in Oman this is now the TOP on my list.

We both had satay chicken and chicken dumplings for starters... Both were excellent..
Big thank you to our waiter Tom, he could not do enough for us...
Overall 10 out 10 and highly recommend this place to everyone

-the interior is great, a combination of modern coffee-lounge with traditional Thai decorations and architecture details.
The restaurant also has a completely open kitchen, where you can observe how every part of the cooking process is happening. I would recommend to sit where you have a view of this kitchen.
-the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. All highly experienced, knew the menu pretty much off-by-heart, and could quickly tell you about all the ingredients and allergies that the food has.
-the menu is very large, with selection of rice, noodles, curries, roast and steamed food. All of the ingredients were listed under the dish, and photos were present for every dish.
-the food itself was the best Thai food that I have ever tried. The tastes were all new, the food was arranged and displayed like a masterpiece, and there were no issues like too much salt or other spice.
-the price of the food is 60-100AED per person, but its quality would sit way higher than that benchmark. Definitely worth the price for the food and experience. Furthermore, they have a good variety of Entertainer promotions (we used buy 1 get 1 free for main courses)
In conclusion, Charm Thai is an exemplar of what high-quality Thai food should be, as it has a good interior, atmosphere, staff, and food.

The beautifully designed interior created a relaxing atmosphere from the beginning.
We opted for the Charmkrop sharing platter, which proved to be a good choice including favorite Thai starters, for those who want to sample a little bit of everything. Shrimp donuts were very good. Instead of having the Charmkrop, directly go for them. Vegetable spring rolls were average. Satay beef and chicken were below my expectations however. Another good option for a starter is deep fried calamary - easy choice.
One of the standout main dishes was the Keang-Khua Ped Yang, roasted duck in curry. This dish was intriguing, a delightful combination of flavors. It had a kick of spiciness that was balanced by the fruity ingredients. Additionally, we ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and sprouts, which showcased the classic Thai flavors. It was above average. While both mains were commendable, I found them to be a solid 7 out of 10 in terms of overall satisfaction.
As a side dish, definitely order Sen Jan Pad Katiem. Despite being labeled as a side dish, this stir-fried noodle stole the show with its simplicity and taste. Highly recommended.
We preffered mocktails as drinks and did not regret.
Mango sticky rice was very successful as a dessert. This one is a must-order at the end.
Overall, our experience at Charm Thai was memorable from the warm service to the carefully crafted Thai dishes. If you're a fan of Thai cuisine or simply seeking an out of ordinary dining experience, I recommend giving this one a visit. I would vote the food a solid 4/5 and complementing to a full 5/5 with all other aspects. Special thanks to BBC Good Food ME, Rama, Tural, Ja and Karan!
