Lovely chic Italian spot in DIFC that brings traditional Italian cuisine with an innovative twist. The ambiance is so elegant with earthy tones of green. You can see culinary artists at work behind the open kitchen concept, and the service is top notch.

I had visited for my birthday and had cake from outside, but they only allow you to cut cake from an external vendor at a fee.

What I tried and loved:

- Parmigiana: baked eggplant with mozzarella cheese
- Asparagus lasagne
- Focaccia do Recco: like a stuffed pizza (or paratha), which was so simple yet delicious! Not something you typically come across in Italian restaurants
- Profiterole for dessert: I have never had profiteroles this lush and soft - they were EXCELLENT and must be tried!

I did find the portion sizes a bit too small for the price point, but the quality, freshness and flavors were miles above par. Explains their recognition under the Michelin Guide 2023 ????????

We had the most amazing experience at chic nona it’s such an elegant restaurant - the manager Massimo was incredible and so friendly and organised the best time for my friend farrah who’s birthday it was with a special desert & all! We are so appreciate and thankful! And will be back soon!

Love love love this place!! Food is amazing, service is amazing, 100% recommend if you want a 360 degree Italian experience.
We had la norma gourmet pizza - amazing!
Orecchiette- even better!
And the stinco - mouthwatering!!

Very nice business lunch with good options and good pricing. Atmosphere is awesome and more relaxed and just what you want for a lunch time.

Stunning restaurant on the ground floor of gate avenue mall. There’s free parking in the mall or they also offer valet too. Walk to the right of reception and look for the green door to enter. We tried a variety of dishes and everything was just perfect. Down to the fresh pasta cooked Al dente to the perfectly cooked saffron risotto with osso bucco. A lovely fine dining experience with cute finishing touches. Perfect place for date night.

My family and I visited Chic Nonna for dinner recently. The venue is gorgeous. We ordered many dishes, the food was hit or miss. Honestly speaking we were a bit disappointed with our experience. Also felt rushed throughout our dinner.

Definitely one of the best spots in town. The food is fantastic (Blue Fin Tuna is a must try), the staff is extremely friendly (especially Amy), and the wine selection is spectacular. After dinner you can head upstairs for a drink at the vibrant bar or smoke a cigar in the cigar room... Bottom line, a must visit!
