I am very pleased with how I progressed academically in this school. Teachers were kind and helpful while I was there. The push towards good grades helped me prepare for future jobs. For me, international opportunities at this academy distinguish this school from other local schools. The curriculum for STEM subjects was particularly stimulating, although I felt the arts could do with some improvement. The reason I knock off a star is because the huge push for academic success - particularly in the STEM subjects - can overwhelm students, and there is not enough emphasis on socialising and making friends (a key component of growing up).
