The ambience was either purposefully under-renovated, or they tried to have a rustic look. I'm not signifying the place is not clean, but it's not well presented. Maybe not to my taste if I'm wrong.
Menu is very small as the place is and the two dishes ordered were good, not great:
1. Shitake Gyoza: was good, but the taste wasn't something out of the box in comparison with Momo's. I know both are different, but it felt almost similar in it's taste.
2. Shoyu: (soy-sauce base, chicken chashu, ajitima egg, scallion, kikurage mushroom) was more of a eggy broth dish. It was good, taste was unique for my Palate with a strong noodle and mushrooms were the highlight. But for someone without any background taste of Ramen, this may not be appealing because of the strong eggy taste of the broth.
Need to visit again & experience it to understand it better.

It's sad that they closed the DIFC branch, I used to go at least once a week since it's close to me. Tried the JLT branch a couple of times and it was great too. Looking forward to the opening of one in citywalk.

Though the place was very small (I went to the DIFC branch).. its always crowded.
I cant remember how many times I went to this place and how many times their miso ramen served as my “therapist” on my gloomiest day. The taste is sooo satisfying from the 1st sip and the noodles has a life of its own. Its not just about the taste that makes me come back but most especially.. that experience of connection to the food. No no.. Im not a food expert, just a well satisfied ramen addict. One of the best. Congratulations and keep it up!
