The Hummus House, Jordanian-inspired JLT joint has much to admire than just the classic hummus.????

The hummus with jalapeno was our favourite. The menu also features hummus with carrot and coriander and hummus with red chilli as well. We also tried their stuffed filafil balls, which are now my favourite and also foul classic which is fava beans mixed with lemon, garlic and herbs. They serve burgers, manakeesh, pastas, pizzas as well! This restaurant is fairly priced considering the perfect dining location with the gorgeous views of the JLT lake if you prefer to sit outside. They also have an indoor seating area with amazing interiors.

Hummus lovers, this place is for you to try some varieties of hummus!! ????????

It’s always a good idea to dine with a view. This small chain offers that as their outside extension comes overlooking to the JLT.

I ordered Shakshouka, mutabal, fish and chips and their coffee. Their food for me is slightly underwhelming as I sure have better. But they have a good enough servings and their staff is accommodating. I forgot her name but she’s Filipina.

The Hummus House is something you can have when you’re craving for arabic cuisine and you’re around Cluster Y, V, and X.

Amazing food, perfect location, sitting space inside as well as outside near lake. Staff was very friendly. Food was served fresh and taste delicious.

Great bites at fair prices - this is definitely true. What I loved the most is the customer service from the restaurant staff. It's a little expected at high end restos to be asked how's the food and all when you're dining with them. But having that kind of treatment here - it's impressive.

Plus, we enjoyed the food - loved the smokehouse double beef burger. It was recommended by their staff as one of the best sellers. The prices are surprisingly affordable, too. It's surely worth visiting!

I want to share my recent experience at The hummus house in JLT cluster Y. First of all , I appreciate their best timely service and best presentable food. Place was small though but have a beautiful small setup outside as well.I must say try their sea food if you’re a sea food lover and their buffalo wings were finger licking awesome, highly recommended. I also tried beef burgers they were also nice .If someone wants to try a good food in a reasonable rates , so you must need to go and enjoy the experience ????

The Hummus house is your budget-friendly solution for all your lunches, dinners and dates. The Hummus House serves a variety of salads and fast food with an impeccable taste at a pocket-friendly cost. It is located in the JLT area so is very convenient for all the employees working in the offices located there looking for a variety of lunch and break options in the neighborhood.

We ordered Avocado chicken salad, Pasta, Fish & chips, Wings, neighborhoodand their classic Burger. The best characteristic about their food was that it wasn’t heavy. It was light and refreshing. You felt full but you weren’t tired. (As I like to call it, you weren’t in a ‘food’ coma after eating). One was still energetic to go back to work.

For health-conscious professionals, you can tell them to customize your salads and sauces. For fast-food eaters, you can tell them to make it crispier or spicier. The food is amazing!

The ambiance is fresh and not dull. Paid RTA parking is also available.

Do give this budget-friendly restaurant a try!

Me and my friend had a dinner in this restaurant for the first time. The restaurant has outdoor seating facing the view of JLT lake which is really good and it feels cosy. Dinner with a view, in short! The staff were attentive and approachable. I like how ate Anna accommodate us, she’s friendly too! ???????? The food was amazing (as you can see on the pictures). They have different variety of foods. From pasta, burgers, salad and desserts! They have my all time favourite dynamite shrimps too! ???? match the food with their freshly juices/smoothies. Known for their assortment of hummus (that is where the restaurant name 'The Hummus House' derives from); the restaurant offers eastern Mediterranean cuisine, and have recently introduced burgers, pasta, wings and dynamite shrimps/chicken as well. Overlooking the gorgeous JLT lake, with indoor seating as well as a dreamy outdoor seating (decorated with fairy lights). The restaurant is affordable and serves generous portions for the price paid, with excellent customer service and a variety of options to choose from.

Apart from the value for money, food is served fresh, and presentation is worth mentioning.

Parking is easily available at Cluster Y (which can be a struggle in JLT). If you're visiting during lunch hours, it is recommended that you make a reservation as the restaurant is packed during this time.

Our order comprised of the following:

- Hummus with Jalapeno: It was my first time trying hummus with jalapeno, and it turned out better than expected. Loved the slight heat of the pepper combined with creamy texture of the hummus. Served with khubz

- Stuffed Falafel: This was a different item too! I've always tried the regular falafel, so decided to give this one a shot. The falafel was stuffed with chopped onions, sumac, HH special spices and served with tahini dip.

- Muhammara, Labneh and Falafel: If you're bored of the typical manakish, try this item. Baked bread layered with labneh, Muhammara (spicy dip made of walnuts, red bell peppers, pomegranate molasses, and breadcrumbs) and small pieces of falafel. Next time when i'm craving manakish, i will only order this one!

- Grilled Chicken & Avocado Salad: After much contemplation, i decided to give order this salad and loved it
- Chicken strips: Even after my photoshoot, though the chicken strips turned cold they retained their juices and crunch. They tasted equally good with and without the dip

- Fettucine Alfredo: Ordered the pink sauce. Though the sauce was good, chicken could've used a bit more seasoning. Overall it was a decent item to order

- Double fish and chips: Couldn't resist the aroma of freshly prepared fish. Loved the crunchy coating. Served with fries (seasoned with their special spices), couldn't get enough of them so we requested the staff to bring us an extra portion

- Mojito: Flushed our food down with refreshing and delicious blue lagoon and strawberry mojito
