Well organized market place for buying gold jewellery and bars. Some shops have zero making charges on select items and they are a good bargain when compared to jewellery in India. Some shops have exquisite designs that might not be available elsewhere. One can visit just to experience.

Best place to visit if you are planning to purchase gold 18, 22, 24ct gold. Some shops have zero making charges on selected models only. Bargain to get the best price and also compare with other shops for the same designs. Gold souk is crowded during the evening and if you are tired there are seats available along the walkway. Easy access to Bur Dubai via water taxi.

I absolutely HATE this place! You can't browse or think here. All the vendors come at you and want you to buy things you have no interest in. It is so noisey!!! And the fact that there are no prices (or rarely) make it too annoying to want to even ask for the price, much less start negotiating!

The smoking in such close quarters is unbearable too!!!

The stores just outside of the Gold Souk are much more civil and they treat you professionally, but the prices for gold are so expensive!!! I know that you are supposed to haggle, but this is way too much work!

I found one sale rack of dresses, with a price. Which was ideal. However, as soon as I tried looking, I was overwhelmed with a guy who kept insisting to show me dresses. I had to leave, just to get my head from spinning.

This place might get more sales if we weren't attacked as if we were walking down a street in India by starving children.

List prices and notes, if it is negotiable. You may get more interest. I personally just wanted to run away, the way it is now. They are way too aggressive!

Best place to visit if you wish to buy Gold and diamonds. Best place in Dubai to get jewelry. You will get to see many verities of jewelries. One unique this about this place that the Guinness World Record holder ring is place at the Kanz Jewelrs. If you interested in seeing gold and diamonds then this is the place. Don't expect too much if you're just visiting. Cheers.

A beautiful market to shop gold, one of the biggest gold market in the Gulf region, you can buy gold, 18, 22 and 24 ct gold items, Gemstones semi precious and precious stones diamonds and all that almost all kind of variety if you are a tourist keep this place at your priority list.

Glitter of Gold everywhere never saw so many Gold shop at a single place, but the non availability of public restroom in this area has been a nightmare for me, Dubai government must do something.

The place is huge! It's like a flea market but instead of stalls of random titbits, there's jewellery shops all over the place. Although the jewellery shops are small, there's variety to overwhelm anyone. It's is definitely worth a visit if you're a first timer to Dubai else if you need to buy some really amazing designs. Generally the shops don't have a fixed price system and there is some scope of bargaining. They also have discounts in summers and also during the year end shopping festival. The place is full of peddlers who sell fake high end bags. It is better to be stay away from the likes of them. Overall the energy of the place is palpable and i enjoyed my visit to the gold souk a lot!
