I started my meal with the Mango Dahi Poori, which was a refreshing and delicious way to start the meal. The poori was perfectly crispy, and the combination of the mango raas and yogurt was both sweet and tart.
The star dish of the meal was the Jain Mango Sandwich. This dish is inspired by a delicacy from Chawdi Bazaar in India, and it is truly bizarrely satisfying. The combination of the paneer, mango, and cream on bread is unlike anything I've ever had before, but it works surprisingly well.
The other dishes I tried were also excellent. The Dynamite Mango Prawn Pakoda was crunchy and had a tangy sauce that it was drenched in. The Chundu Murgh Tikka was a nod to the Gujarati sweet pickles and quite delicious with the tender smoky chicken.
In mains, the Khatti Aam ki Daal was a nice sour twist to every Indian household staple. The Paneer Mango Curry and Murgh Kaccha Aam were interesting because the base gravies were spicy and there was a raw mango sourness to each bite as well. The Kaccha Aam Pakka Aam pulao which was a take on the Berry Pulao from Parsi cuisine was really good. It had a sweet and tangy flavour with bits of mango and chicken. Sounds strange but it was good.
The Mango Malaiyo dessert was a dream. It was literally whipped mango cream stuffed into a frozen mango. Super refreshing and delicious.
Overall, I had a wonderful meal at Dhaba Lane's Mango Mela. The food was delicious, the flavors were unique, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for a delicious and refreshing meal.

Dhaka style ambience with desi looks and Punjabi songs takes you back to Indian streets. Loved every bit of this place❤️

Let's start with the service. The waitstaff seemed completely disinterested in their job, as if they were doing me a favor by serving me.
Now, let's address the lack of toilets. It's baffling to me how a restaurant can operate without proper facilities for its customers.
Overall, my experience at this restaurant was nothing short of a disaster. The combination of terrible service, an appalling waiter's attitude, and the absence of functional toilets made it a dining experience I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. I strongly advise avoiding this establishment at all costs unless you enjoy being treated with disrespect and don't mind using unsanitary facilities. Save yourself the trouble and find a more deserving place to spend your hard-earned money.

Let me begin with the attitude of the waiter, which was nothing short of arrogant. It seemed as though serving customers was a chore for him, and he made it abundantly clear that he had no interest in providing even the most basic level of customer service.
To make matters worse, the lack of toilet facilities was simply unacceptable. I couldn't believe that a restaurant, claiming to be a decent establishment, didn't even have a restroom for its customers. This inconvenience was not only discomforting but also highly unhygienic.
Considering the terrible service, the absence of a restroom, and the disappointing quality of the food, I cannot in good conscience recommend Dhaba Lane Restaurant to anyone. The lack of professionalism, coupled with the unsanitary conditions, make it a place to avoid at all costs. There are certainly better dining options available that provide a more pleasant and enjoyable experience for customers.

4 star is only because, the service could have been better.
The air con was not sufficient.
Can’t enjoy the food when the place is hot!
The Handwash place can be maintained better.

Adding to the disappointment was the lack of toilet facilities. It is absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant to not have proper restroom facilities for its customers. It's a basic necessity, and the absence of a toilet in a restaurant is not only inconvenient but also unhygienic.
Considering the exorbitant prices they charge, the lack of basic amenities and the subpar quality of food, I would strongly advise against dining at Dhabalane Restaurant. The experience was nothing short of a complete disappointment. There are far better dining options available that offer superior service, cleanliness, and delicious food. Save yourself the trouble and find an alternative restaurant to enjoy your meal.
