I decided to spend my birthday and experience the culinary history of this environment. It was truly fascinating! The customized tasting menu with each dish showcasing culinary skills and paying homage to historic recipes. The likes of the iconic Meat Fruit, a parfait concoction of chicken liver and mandarin, and Tipsy Cake, a boozy dessert dating back to the 19th century, were just a few of the highlights. From the moment the door opens you are transported back to 1300's Britain. The theatrical element is great and completely adds to the experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is modern and elegant, perfectly combined with the creative cuisine. The staff is professional, attentive and competent, which makes the experience even more pleasant. The dishes are very unusual and prepared with great attention to detail. The combination of ingredients and flavors match perfectly to create a real taste explosion in your mouth. Every bite is a new discovery that will never cease to amaze your guests.
The nitrogen ice cream which is a dessert option was a great show factor and added to the overall dining experience.

Overall, I would say that Dinner by Heston is a must go dining destination in Dubai. Thank you for the experience.

There are lots of really nice fine dining places in Dubai. This one is a clear step above all of them and what I would consider truly special. It’s basically historical dishes from the UK brought back to life. Some of the dishes are based on recipes from 600 years ago. Staff is exceptional and can tell you all about it. We are not a fans of “modern” UK food but decided to go anyways just to see. Listened to the staff recommendations and basically went with that. Was blown away. The flavors are extremely rich and unique. Every dish is prepared with utmost care and so much thought that went into it. Price wise it’s not cheap but honestly we’ve been to much more expensive restaurants in Dubai that don’t even come close what they serve here

Let’s start with the good things: the interior design and the atmosphere is really nice. The wine cellar is exceptionally nice. And the staff are very well trained, professional and friendly.

However the food was rather hit and miss. The starters were great. The desert was also fantastic. But the main courses were underwhelming. Both bone in rib and the halibut were just okay. In a normal restaurant this may have been fine but one expects something exceptional from Heston.

The whole experience is amazing but we expected more from the food.

That’s not to say it wasn’t good, of course it was and in part great but there were small things I wouldn’t have expected. Especially given the standing of the restaurant and the prices.

It maybe an unpopular opinion, but do yourself a favour and don’t get seduced by the triple cooked chips, not impressed.

I had a steak which was good, well cooked good flavour but the cabbage side was a disaster. My wife had the fish and this was over. Not expected.

The drinks were excellent all round and the staff amazing. Knowledgable, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. They get 5 stars.

Go for sure. It’s one you have to try for the experience alone but there were flaws with our food. Maybe we were just unlucky.

Food top class creative and inventive. Signature cocktails are not good enough. Order from the main menu. Extensive wine menu and great drinks advice. Concept good but story telling longwinded and not fun. Experience great, staff professional and ambience good. Nice views. Overall exceptional dining, great views and expensive - AED 1000 per head to include wine and a cocktail and three courses.

This was a great experience, the food was outstanding both in terms of taste as well as presentation and uniqueness. I was also very impressed with how much food you get, I was throughly stuffed after my three courses, which is not always the case with this type of fine dining.

The staff were also great, very attentive without being over bearing. Sometimes with fine dining restaurants the atmosphere can be a bit stuffy with the staff taking everything a bit too seriously but that’s not the case here, we were made very welcome and there was a good level of charm and humour in the way the staff interact with the guests.

Only the third 'Dinner by Heston' in the world, after London and Melbourne, the one Michelin star award winning Dinner by the British chef Heston Blumenthal, although his feet have not been in it yet.
Dining room is huge with different seating areas. The decor and ambience is warm and rich; leather detailing, large rosewood tables, and dim lighting. Some tables which are close to the glass wall have beautiful views looking out onto the hotel’s water fountain.
Heston Blumenthal's culinary quests led him to 'The Forme of Cury' - one of England's oldest recipe books - and it is from this and other historical works that dishes such as 'rice and flesh' and 'frumenty' (c.1390) come.
His signature dishes such as the Meat Fruit and Tipsy Cake are all available.
The Rice and Flesh was the star of the meal. Full of flavour.
My friend liked the Powdered Duck and found it to be very fresh.
My Fillet was not admirable. The quality of the meat was not appealing and the sauce didn’t go well with it. It was over salty. The chef’s famous triple-cooked chips was below expectations; over salty and texture inconsistent.
The Tipsy Cake (the made a virgin version of it soaked in vanilla instead) was delicious.
Overall the food was tasty but nothing
to rave home about it. Does it worth a Michelin start? Don’t think so. There are better ones in town.
Service is professional and polished. Waiters call guests by their names and were very attentive.

During extremely cold weather and snow the waiting room was locked. Old people were standing outside shivering as they waiting for a service to finish. They hadn’t even moved the snow from the flower terrace - it was so dangerous.

I am wheelchair bound. When my wife and I visited the crematorium to see my parent's plaque and rose tree we were concerned about getting me there from the car park. We were very lucky to meet David, a groundsman , who not only checked exactly where the rose and plaque were but also offered to push me there and back (which he did). He was so thoughtful and kind and we are really grateful to him. It's not often that you come across such helpfulness.

although a good service privided by mears i wobt use this crematorium ever again refused us to collect grandad made us pay for a slide show to be played which was made by me not them also charged us for usb of funeral then to tell us its not 3 days its 3 weeks you might have a beautiful location but your customer service is seriously lacking in so many ways
