Very professional approach to the patient, you feel listened to and taken care of. The doctor especially Dr. Sarah SHAH is a great family doctor who will do anything for your health. The women working at the reception will always do their best to match the meetings to the way of life

Improved a lot recently. If you ring on time, you do get an appointment. There is a new female doctor now who is fantastic; really appreciate her. There is a delay with other appointments being available e.g. for blood tests so not ideal but on the whole it's improving.

Out of ours GP service was fantastic after being referred from 111, nurse who reviewed my husband was very thorough and had great communication and bedside manner (for lack of a better word) she was absolutely fantastic

During last period service has changed drastically. For instance, last time I had an appointment with doctor Shahbaz, and it's quite experienced doctor who really tries to help. Receptionists very polite and nice as well.

Despite the waiting time over the phone to get an appointment, this practice has served me well over the years and overall rate this practice highly despite the adverse comments left. I have never left a review against this place but felt compelled to after the nurse, who took my blood out today, was exceptional, my previous experiences when taking blood out were appalling (at other places, hospitals). I literally left with a smile and full of contentment.

The worst medical center,I booked an appointment for Friday morning from the NHS app, they changed it without even asking me and didn't even call me at all. I changed it for another day and they didn't even notice me that the appointment was cancelled cause I tried to find another gp to have a look instead of cancelling the appointments.
No medical center at all.

I have been with this Practice for more than two years now. My experience has been a mixture between good and bad and here is why:u2028Medical staffu2028the two times a thorough follow up and requesting the right tests that led to serious diagnoses (one of them is hypothyroidism and the other is inflated gallbladder) were due to the good work of tow female medical staff members who put efforts to listen to me and ask the right questions. For the female medial staff members who’ve been in the practice in the past two years I give 5 starts. My experience however with male staff members was completely different. Before requesting the thyroid test by the female staff, another male doctor was taking my calls. For almost six months he kept insisting that my vitamins blood tests were ok (done 20 months before the consultations) and resisting doing new tests. He referred me to physiotherapy and offered a referral to psychotherapy but never occurred to him to check the Kidney, liver and thyroid like the female doctor did. After the results came back with underactive thyroid, I was referred to him again for explanation and was relieved that I finally knew the reason. His answer was don’t be so sure as we need to repeat the test twice to confirm. Later, during these two years my follow up on the symptoms and requests do more check were resisted often by other male staff members. One time I spoke to a senior doctor and ask him to explain the blood test, he did not know how to explain them so I asked to be referred to a specialist who can help me understand why my body in not settled until now, he shouted on the phone: no, will not refer you. If you want more tests check back in three months and hang up the phone!
I kept having the abdominal pain and bloating until a new female doctor referred me to do an ultrasound and was then when we found the gallbladder problem.u2028u2028Phone system: was very bad in the past, then it was replaced with one that the line kept dropping after waiting for 40 minutes and when you manage to get hold to the reception staff, they will say they ran out of appointments for that day. Things have become better recently though, but you need to call at 8 am.u2028u2028Nurses: there have been several nurses in the past two years. One time I was asked to come and do the blood test again because the label was not fixed properly on the sample, so the lab refused to process it.u2028u2028Another time, I was called to do general check, weight, hight, blood pressure. The nurse measured my height while I was wearing heels! And insisted the scale was calibrated although it showed 4 KG discrepancy than 4 other different scales I used in the past few months.u2028u2028In the recent couple of months, medical staff have been more responsive, and they made some referral, and I am hoping the improvement will continue.

Please if your a student and need a GP do not go here, I have been under this GP since my uni experience started a few years ago and it has been nothing but added stress throughout my long term health care issues. Every time a consultant has contacted in them in regards to information/a request for medication or treatment they have ignored,”lost” or simply forgot to contact me. I am never contacted in regards to important test results despite being told during these tests my doctor will ring me ASAP, I am ignored when I try to contact the GP manager. You will be more successful getting an appointment (as they’re apparently all gone by 8:15am) by calling 111 who will book you in to the appointments that are “taken”. If your health condition requires urgent care expect no urgency, if your medication is urgent expect it to be sent to the pharmacist in 4-6 week. Please avoid this GP at all costs, students coming and going seems to mean the GPS feel no patient commitment as they do not expect to be dealing with these people down the line when they eventually leave. I have dealt with stressed and overworked GPS before just not ones who seem so fed up and negligent towards their duty or care and patients. Told I had muscle pain, turned out to be a serious heart condition, amongst many other problems so please if you care about your health do not register here.
UPDATE
Since writing this review I have had referrals from consultants ignored, prescriptions never sent or acknowledged, multiple “lost results”, the survey claims a 4 week turn around for processing urgent test results, aka staff are sat in an office of results and it takes them four weeks to process can’t imagine how many people are waiting, during this time you won’t be told this it will be “still waiting for results” not we have received but still haven’t processed” whenever consultants chase up magically things are done, I suggest everybody takes up complaints with the NHS board as I have done because the practice truly doesn’t give a flying f*ck about anyone’s wellbeing. Avoid this GP practice like the plague.
