You get a short journey through the channel tunnel in 35 mins. Hassle free and simple. Border control was quick and efficient. On our return we ended up on the top part of the carriage which was quite shaky but on the whole, our experience was comfortable nonetheless. A little more pricier than the ferry but again, bear in mind it is definitely a quicker process.

As you arrive your car number plate is scanned and it recognises your booking then offers you earlier travel times if they are available (usually for free). The parking is plentiful and the services are good but could maybe have a few more things for kids to do. Going through to get on the train itself can take some time but is certainly no worse than an airport things seem to move at a smooth rate. Getting off at the other side is as simple as driving away, great service.

We have use EuroTunnel on many occations and always found them to be reasonably priced and had good service.

If driving across the continent this has to be better than using a boat!

On this occasion (early July) we had a smooth trip, no hold ups at passport control and even got put on an earlier train.

Nearly a 3 hour delay to our trip. No explanation.. dogs allowed in the centre on the uk side, friendly and efficient staff et the pet centre. Exercise area is very small, loos not terribly well maintained, enormous queues due to the delays.

Functional, efficient all basic necessities catered for. Fully automated, signs everywhere to keep you updated. We have used it a number of times for holidays and will continue to do so. The easiest way to take your car to France.

Excellent as ever! The pet reception process is smooth and easy. Terminal is well resourced and we got an earlier train than our booking as we arrived early - this makes travelling to Europe by car so flexible. Who goes by boat and why?

First time on le shuttle , I was unsure what to expect , we had Dillon the dachshund , check in for pets was super easy literally 5min , Dillon was aloud in the service station but not in shops , boarding the le shuttle was even easier, great experience definitely makes driving abroad easy .
