This is certainly more of a dining restaurant than drinking pub, but fortunately it was quiet enough when I visited to be able to occupy a small table by the bar. The staff member behind the bar was truly lovely, giving a brilliant welcome and setting the tone for the rest of my friendly stay. The decor is really well done, felling high end and cosy with everything very clean. The blackboards on the wall gave an indication that there’s lots of events they host and it’d be worth repeat visits. There wasn’t the largest range of alcoholic drinks by the bottle available, but what was there was priced well for the venue and I’d really recommend visiting for a meal as well as relaxing drink.

Fantastic & very friendly service.
The Carrot & Coriander Soup was lovely and came with a lovely soft warm baguette. The Lentil Cottage Pie sadly wasn't quite as nice and the mash on top was completely solid.

I liked this place. They had a nice burger which was suitable for veg/vegan. The kids didn't really like the cheesey pasta so maybe having a tomato base pasta for kids would be a better suggestion. Food prices have gone up everywhere so can't do very much about the bill.

I've never had such a disappointing birthday meal and I have been here many times. I don't know if the pub has changed owners or chef or both.
My first 2 choices were not available despite being on the menu, my third choice of salad I returned to the kitchen as I have never seen such a poor excuse for a salad. It consisted of mainly salad leaves, 2 cherry tomatoes, 4 slices of cucumber, 2 thin slices of mozzarella and half a dried apricot diced so small the taste was lost in the salad leaves. My final choice of roast chicken was just dry and tasteless. Hoping to satisfy my taste buds with a dessert I chose the New York cheesecake. A poor choice, in my mind from the description, I imagined a shard of honeycomb, in reality it was a piece of cheesecake adorned with the briefest scattering of assumed 'honeycomb', which just looked messy. This just summed up the whole meal as a tasteless disappointment. The serving staff did apologise, they may or may not know what is happening to the establishment behind the scenes. Either way I hope they sort it out and produce dishes that live up to the menu description very soon. The children cheese pasta, I didn't try it so cannot comment on the taste.

Pie were nice but the size was poor. The 'Vegetables' were less than a half a handful and even less for the chips. It was a shame hopefully this isn't the Norm! Desserts were also small slice and a small scoop of ice cream. As a bar great... Food not so much!

Only booked a couple of hours before meal but had a lovely table upon arrival. Staff were very friendly and extremely efficient. Even though they had a very large party to wait on our wait was minimal. Husband had pork roast and I had veggie roost, both were amazing and very tasty, highly recommend, would definitely go back ????

What a fantastic place!!! Gorgeous food and a lovely atmosphere. Friendly attentive staff. This pub is definitely worth a visit

A nice pub with a sizeable beer garden for those sunny Lincolnshire days. Dog friendly so bring your furry friends along, inside and out! Good selection of food and drinks and free parking to top it all off.
