I regularly use the hair salon here. Always perfect results. Staff and students are friendly cheerful and polite. Would not go anywhere else.

If you are an adult learner I wouldn't even consider going here!!!
The staff are grumpy and treat you as if you are a child. They are very unorganised and it has been a hurtful and disappointing experience since day 1.

I applied to do GCSE Maths this year and got sent in to do assessments in what I thought was for GCSE Maths and English. However they sat me at level 2 so naturally I found it alot easier than expected. They called me afterwards to tell me I needed to come in again to do GCSE assessments so I did to get told the marks I sat which was close to 50% wasn't high enough to get accepted onto the course you need roughly around 80% which is bull because you are there to learn they should be able to teach you. I settled for level 2 and agreed a time and a date with a tutor for me to turn up get pointed in all different directions and told I hadn't even enrolled so I stood in line to enrol and was told I would get an email in a minute which took an hour. Bear in mind I have to travel 2 hours to get there and back by bus.
Once all was done I enrolled got my badge and went to my classroom the week after to sit outside for 45 mins with no one turn up and not even an email.
I checked with reception as the student email wouldn't let me on so there's me thinking it's because I'm having troubles with that but no I didn't receive anything and was told the tutor was off ill and I should of been notified.
For me to attend for a couple of weeks and receive and email to say my enrollment wasnt correct because I was missing my national insurance number so they could sort out funding, confused I called reception again and I said I would be paying for the course myself. They don't accept that and only receive government funding. I had to withdraw as I'm studying also elsewhere that have been alot more supportive and organised than this college.

If you have commitments and are older than school leaver don't apply. They treat you as if you are that age and you are an inconvenience to them.

Definitely would not recommend at all especially if it has been a while since you have been in education and you have anxiety about it.
Eastleigh and Fareham colleges have alot more supportive and friendlier staff.

Certain members of staff are really rude and unprofessional, showing no real interest in students and Sharing private information amongst other things. If you’re looking for a functional skills tutor, holly in particular I’d steer clear of.

Went for an open day for our son, very impressed with the site, quite modern but not too large. Good feeling about the environment and the head was a lovely lady.
