Went there tonight for dinner. I know it's weekend and it's busy. I know it takes time to be seated during the weekend. Just at some point gets frustrating to see people who came after you being seated before you. Also I saw less number of people sitting on bigger tables which is insulting for the other guests who must squeeze themselves on a table with ottoman chairs. Service was slow. Maybe they are shortstaffed, I don't know. But we waited so much to get our waters and drinks. Didn't seem proper to us. They offer "ayran" in the menu. In reality it's a bottled laban style ayran which if I saw correctly is made in Lebanon. Nothing wrong with Lebanese laban of course, but it's Bosnian restaurant right? Shouldn't they offee something closer to the traditional Bosnian drink? Food was ok, but it's not like before. I remember years ago when they first opened the portions were much better. The cevapi was longer and the ayvar and yogurt sauces were more generous amount. Even now with the portions presented doesn't seem enough to have 12 pieces cevapi and one spoon ayvar and one spoon yogurt. I wish they invested in some standing AC or fans to make the air move and to be less hot in the sofa area. Definitely do not recommend this restaurant during a weekend. Maybe some other guests enjoyed it, but not us. Our whole experience was affected by the waiting to be seated and inadequate service. We won't come again for sure.

This is a restaurant within the global village that also has other kiosks within the global village and a full service restaurant in Dubai. It has multiple items on the menu, but the one that one should try is the Bosnian kababs. Beef kababs nicely seasoned and grilled to.order served as a sandwich with two sauces and raw onions, simple and straight to the point that gives you a nice protein fix during your long day of walking within the global village.

It was my first time trying Bosnian food and I wasn’t disappointed. We had gone for iftar and they have a special iftaar menu. We ordered the Bosnian iftar which includes Bosnian kebab which comes with pita bread or Bosnian stuffed pita. You can choose from the two. It also comes with Bosnian coffee, ayran which is a milk drink and hurmasica which is desert. Loved the vibe of the place our server Mateya was amazing.

In all fairness, I wonder how many places around the world would have restaurant serving Bosnian food and so, I am glad that I got rhe opportunity to taste something from Bosnia. And I was surprised. The food is tasty, relying more on produce quality and simple flavours. There is nothing unique except the Bosnian take on kebabs and pita and borek but it is recommended to savour the food with open mind and without comparison with other cafes serving kebabs or pita or borek. The dips were fantastic too. Wishing the Bosnian House success in their endeavours.

Other branches outside the global village are much better than all the branches in GV, the kebab was not tender and chewy unlike the meat in other branches, the staff is extremely rude and barely smiles, and they would baldly and shamelessly ask you for a tip. Plus of course this branch is more expensive than their branches outside, and to top it off the food gave me an upset stomach. Two stars for the design and ambience of the place.

The meat kebab and pita bread is definitely worth trying. We could not try all the dishes as we had this urge to leave due to the rush and crowded seating. The cook in plenty and serve in plenty as well. It is affordable and fulfilling. We also tried chicken in pita which was equally great.

Good place for pit stop when you are in global village, authentic food, I loved the meat pai and cheese pai.
I feel they should expand their menu though.
