The environment is very welcoming and friendly. They accommodate you whenever you have questions or if you want help in suggesting what suits best for you. The doctor who did our eye test was very friendly and it was truly a great experience????????

First time to visit Eye max in rigga branch and purchased eye glasses for myself, and I wanna give thanks to Bernadeth and Aireen for giving me lots of option to choose, very accommodating and friendly! Im excited to get my new eye glasses tomorrow. Highly recommended to visit this place. Great experience for customer service

visted the shop two days ago for an eye test the staff was very polite and helpful at first but they didn't give the full details that if I've been suggested to wear glasses i have to buy from them only otherwise they will not update the RTA system after test there was one guy who was very rude and unprofessional in all the ways trying to force and insisting to purchase the glasses from them only this was my first time renewal of the license i didn't know exactly what's the practice that i have to buy only from the same shop of test or i can buy from anywhere else but the behavior of that guy was very wrong he refused to update the system unless i buy the glasses from them only even i was ready to pay for the test and i gave him the option that i will made my glasses from outside i will come back to you. you can check the glasses by yourself once you're satisfied you can uodate the system but he didn't agree and i have to left the shop with a worst experience and wastage of my time only because of this stubborn guy. today i checked from another shop they told me yes i can made the glasses from anywhere i want if after the test i was suggested again to wear the glasses no matter what the result is they will update the system.

Its a nice enough surgery, however getting an appointment is nearly impossible, the system means you call at 8.30 am, are usually 20+ in the queue, only to be told all appointments are gone! You can't book ahead and therfore have to ring every morning.....took me 2 weeks to get an appointment, by which time I was put off calling at all !
Most consultants are over the phone, so good luck if you want a face to face appointment.
Surgery is ok inside and just been extended but not sure that means more doctors?
Parking in front and free
Good wheelchair access
Pharmacy next to surgery.
Receptionists seem a little abrupt.
Finding put results can take a while and the recommendation to use online platform is so difficult to register and log in that I gave up.
Shame the nhs is this set up now, long gone seem the days when your doctors surgery seemed a helpful place to go.

Never usually leave a review. The experience I have had as a new patient at this surgery has been second to none. Always get an appointment. Always spoken to with manners and always go above and beyond.

After standing outside since 730 am to get appointment today. Doors opened I went to reception and to my shock I was given a appointment at 9am only a hour away.
After sitting there till 920 my phone recieved a text telling me I had missed my appointment.I went to reception asking what was happening to receive attitude from the receptionist telling me I missed my appointment and the Dr wouldn't see me today. What a terrible place this is. Already lost a days wage to just sit and be seriously insulted
Time for me to change doctors I do believe as this place is disgusting

20 minutes on hold to try book an appointment. when i eventually got through, told no appointments, will have to get out of hours doctor to call you back before your local pharmacy closes. i'm at work until 22:00 everyday. what good is that? absolute joke. gave 1 star as not able to leave review without any stars.

This is actually the worst medical practice I’ve ever been to receptionist staff are the most rude and ignorant people I have ever met it’s like there goal in their career is to be as condescending and miserable as possible the answerphone message even screams don’t ring us just die. Wait in a lengthy queue all morning to be told ‘no appointments and we don’t take prescription requests over the phone so email the surgery’ and when you do finally get them to review a request for a prescription they never send it across to the chemist next door who try so much to help and fulfil requests. My first appointment at this doctors when I found out I was expecting a baby a male doctor replied to me after me saying I think I’m pregnant ‘what do you want me to do about it?’ Found this really embarrassing and when my sister lost her baby very early in pregnancy a doctor told her ‘it’s not a big deal it happens a lot’ which she found extremely insensitive. Can’t really say anything good about the place it needs serious changes and help, maybes new receptionist staff and nurse/doctor training. 0/10 awful trying to find a new surgery.

I have had to call this morning to respond to a letter. First call I didn't even get put into queue it just rang and rang until I decided to hang up and try again at 13minutes. Second call I got through to someone at just shy of 8minutes which was no better as whilst I was still speaking, trying to ask a question they said "ok thanks" and quickly hung up on me!!!! Very rude! Patients are having to wait 20minutes plus trying to get through to you so at least have the decency to listen to them... it's part of your job to do so.

Riverside must only employ the most arrogant people they can find. Speak nicely to the receptionist only to be patronised and spoke down to in return.

The receptionist staff are so rude. They have zero empathy and seem to lack basic customer service skills.
