It’s a beautiful hotel on the trunk of The Palm. Lobby is welcoming Arabic style design. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The balcony overlooking the beach was also large and felt very private and included a table, chairs, and outdoor chaise lounge. Breakfast buffet had lots of variety and was fresh and delicious. The adult pool area was relatively quiet compared to the family pool and was good for a dip. The beach is a bit rough on The Palm as it is man made so not as soft as the sand on the other natural beaches in Dubai. Service on the beach and by the pool was good and friendly. Burger, drinks, pizza, and smoothie by the pool were all tasty. I took a star off for two reasons: 1)The surrounding area is very loud until late at night and it was hard to relax and 2) They charged us quite a lot for the breakfast buffet which should have been included with our rate.

Perfect weekend with kids in the pool and restaurant next to pool!
Angela waiter was giving us high service: Quick, fast and always with smile.
Appreciate for all staff of this hotel, definitely we will be back

I gave them two stars for the good location and nice facilities otherwise would have given them one star. We arrived at around 1pm and had to wait till 5pm to get our rooms. At check in the lady suggested I include breakfast for my stay and I agreed. The next day after having breakfast they inform me that breakfast is not included so I paid. The night before checking out I asked for a late check out for at least one of our rooms, they did not reply and then after many follow ups they told me that I would need to change to another room for the couple of hours extra I needed otherwise they cannot accommodate my request.
Service level is not up to the facility and need to improve greatly to be at international chain standard.

Beautifully appointed hotel with enough outdoor space and pools to not feel crowded. The rooms are immaculate and to a high standard. The private beach is immaculate and i can't speak highly enough of how friendly and attentive every single member of staff are.

The stay was great, but the valet parking system ruined my entire stay even though the hotel staff were very helpful, for two days they took 30 minutes to bring my car, which is absolutely unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. On the day of my check out. They took one hour to bring my car from the basement while it was not even busy. On top of that, they lost my luggage when I got my car. Yes it ruined my entire stay and I will definitely not be coming back again.

Beautiful hotel, amazing pools and lovely staff…but my stay was ruined due to their policy on the kid’s club…only drop-off! Parents cannot stay and play with their children.
I understand for some this is a dream and their reason for choosing this hotel…however for some others, the vacations are the only little time we can spend with our kids and hence I want to play with them (not let other people who I don’t even know to take care of them….).
Very very disappointed!!!!

Edit: dear Hotel….it is not that I did not want to pay….I just wanted to spend time with my daughter. So please do not try to manipulate what I wrote because this is not true!
It is not about money, it is because your policy of no parents!!!!!

Absolutely amazing. We returned for a second time as a family and cannot fault this hotel. Everything was perfect, the staff, the room (which was kindly upgraded), the service, the beach and the pools, as well as the food. I also used the spa which was a wonderful experience. The views are incredible too. We can’t wait to return for a third visit!

A truly world class hotel in so many ways. From the first minute the staff are fantastic and nothing is any trouble for them. We have been impressed with every last detail of the hotel, the rooms are great, the beds very comfortable, pool area fantastic with very safe area for kids, beach is lovely and quiet. Food was amazing, the service from the restaurant staff has been incredible, special mention to Denver whose customer service and friendliness is on a different level to what we have ever experienced before. It’s down to people like him that we will be visiting the hotel on vacation in the future. Many thanks to you all
