Great little place. Only £3 entry. Currently set up the way it was when used as the pub in Shane Meadows' "The Gallows Pole" with information boards telling the story of The Cragg Vale coiners. Good value. The rest of the village is beautiful.

Heptonstall...always a Bronte-esque feel to the place, although the museum is small its informative when open. The place is worth a visit just for the atmosphere.

The village is worth a visit, great place to walk around and get lost with a friendly local pub to get a drink, the little museum is the cherry on top.
