Well I went to Cromer for the first time and honestly it wasn't for me. It was dated and a bit drab. We got there at high tide and there is basically no beach. Personally I will give it a miss, next time and go further down the coast.

For me being a disabled driver it’s a great carpark for disabled beside the sea right on the promenade unfortunately only around 8 spaces so need to be early to guarantee a space.
Please Remember that you must pay for disabled parking at North Norfolk council car parks the same as all users, you do get 1 hour longer for the same price on top of your time .
Toilets and coffee are very close and with a fabulous sea view it’s
Great.

You have to pay but it's a godsend if you struggle with steep inclines because it's right on the prom

I don't know why this is rated as a place to visit as it's on the promenade. However Cromer Promenade is ideal for a wander and with ramps at both ends (Marrams Zigzag and the Ramos by the pier. Apart from the slipway, Doctors steps are fairly accessible.

This us the disabled we parked on-which was full by10am. Was lovely to walk along the front, on the flat. Lots of people with kids fishing on the pier. Some of the parents were more excited with a catch than their children were! Lovely breeze, very welcome on a hot day

Typical brit seaside and pier plenty of shops for bucket and spade as well as fish and chip shops ice cream parlours we had fantastic fish and chips on the lower esplanade and very reasonable price too.
