We got our sofa from FSH and it came within 10 days of ordering. They worked with us to make sure the arrangement fit within our living area. After arrival, there was an error with the seat firmness, but they worked hard to fix the error and made sure that it was ultimately the sofa that we wanted and payed for. Mr. Nihal was very helpful through the whole process.

After several hunt and window shopping for bed with storage I decided to take a chance with FSH Furniture, Mr. Awais to get a custom make bed. He was very supportive and patient with my order requirement. Delivery and installation was carried out as planned, product quality is great, smooth finishing. The installation team was great, getting the bed installed in no time.

We bought a couch and a bed & mattress from FSH. I am very happy with the quality and finish of all products. The salesman was very helpful but the after care service could be better. Due to an error our mattress was not delivered with our bed, I had to chase for confirmation of delivery date for the mattress from FSH. I was told it would be new years eve, I requested for a morning delivery as we had plans, this was ignored and the mattress was delivered at nearly 11pm. Overall happy with my experience but some customer service aspects could be improved.

Very bad Service!

I had a very bad experience. The online shows a very good picture but internally it's all a mess. First, they said that my two beds will take 8-10 days, I requested if they could do it earlier because I needed it urgently, the guy said ok he will try 7-8 days. I had agreed with measurements and agreed with everything, so I waited.

On day 11, no word from them so I called and asked when the beds will be arriving, only to be asked the measurements and that there was a miscommunication between the salesman and factory( this was not mentioned because the WhatsApp number is the same)

So I called and asked to speak with the manager. He apologized and promised me that I would receive the beds on that Monday(it was a Saturday when I called). Upon this promise, I made arrangements for my old beds to be picked up! Big mistake! They called me to please give them one more day, which I did( forcing me to arrange pick up of one bed)

It is now day 18 with the back and forth. Finally the beds arrive and lo and behold, it was the wrong bed size.

They then again apologized and I asked them to return my deposit and cancel the order, they said that they cannot do that. They finally made the beds but it's incomplete. One of the hydraulic bed does not go down after being pulled up. They forgot the mattress( which was ordered on the first day) One has to enter into lengthy chats because no one knows when it will arrive unless one nags with follow ups! On day 25 and still not complete. I was again asked to give one more day.

Upon following up, they now said the mattress is in production! Oh but I had been told that they forgot it previously.

It's is when I got fed up and decided to do the review, after which they promised to deliver today(25th July between 8 and 9 pm they requested that I remove the review I had previously put and would compensate me with a side drawer. They gave me the drivers number to communicate with him, and when I called at 21:30 pm, he said that he just finished a delivery and he needs to go to warehouse at 21:30 to collect my things. I had been promised it will be delivered between 8-9 pm( meaning it should have been arranged in the day time). They came at 23:45 pm and were finishing at 1:30 am.

The bedside table for compensation, they did not have it and said again tomorrow ( the never ending tomorrows). It's day 3 but I now understand it's because they needed me to remove the review, so now no one cares. Customer service service is bad and they never keep their Word.

I now learnt the hard way, to always check online reviews before ordering anything! All the bad reviews are consistent with what I have gone through! Bad thing is that once you pay, you are now in a battle field with them, anyways they already received the money and you are left to deal with it their way. Super sad!

We had this Miniature railway on the list for a visit for a long time, and with a day with nothing planned we spotted it was open and took the trip over to see what it was like.

The railway is situated in the grounds of Barnards and as you enter through the gate you turn left and park next to the miniature railway station / hub. The station area had picnic benches, a small cafe (think crisps and cake with drinks but not much more than that), and toilets.

Tickets for the railway is £7 per person, no difference between kids and adults prices, and all day ticket is £10, so if doing more than one trip that's the way to go. We were given option of buying the single and then just upgrading for the difference, which I guess is a good idea if you think its going to rain and / or not sure if your kids will like it.

They have a variety of trains, on our visit it was a steam, diesel and an electric train. The diesel does the whole route and back, the steam goes to the station before the end (issues with going up slight incline) and the electric was doing a slightly different route to the lake.

You can get off at the stations and have a wonder around, but we visited when the gardens were not open and thus we was a little more limited on where we were allowed to walk. On days where the gardens are shut, you are limited to the left of the river and can not cross the runway area (see map!). The gardens looked good with some interesting statues.

The only thing I was a little unsure about is what happens when it's busy? The trains only have limited capacity and as mentioned above if you get off then you are hoping there is space on another train....! Trains run every 20 mins ish, so not a massive wait, but I did wonder...! Thankfully no issues with space for us.

Staff were all friendly and we had a really nice visit. Would certainly visit again.

We had a wonderful day here recently & our grandson enjoyed the miniature railway ride & exploring the beautiful grounds. A great collection of vintage motorcycles & cars all in running order amazing.
Money raised today all going to a worthy charity. Staff all so helpful & make everyone very welcome.

Lovely miniature ride. Amazing that it’s all run by volunteers and profits go to various charities (i asked but forgot the list). Suitable for young kids (2s and under go free). The ride takes roughly 20mns I think return trip and there is a possibility to hop off/on to take a walk.

Lovely gardens with plenty to see for adults and kids.
There's a great little train system too. Car and motorcycle museum is open on weekends..sundays i think. Note entry fee online does not include the miniature railway which is priced at an additional £7 a person. Entry via online however is free for kids, but as stated you will have to pay for the railway part ontop of this. There is very little refreshments available so BRING your own food and snacks. Picnics etc are welcome anywhere on the grounds. A nice day out.

Absolutely fabulous. We all loved Easter train ride with egg hunt. Brilliant ride around the farm and through the forest lots to see.
I mixed up bookings but guys were able to squeeze us in and saved the day!

We came for the Easter Egg hunt, our young grandchildren enjoyed it. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. Plenty of clean toilets and parking spaces. The cost was £40 for two adults and two children, which I thought was quiet expensive

Adore this place, the line is one of the longest 7.25inch railways in the country, with lovely greenery and sculptures lining the track and everyone's so friendly! I enjoy it so much I've recently started volunteering, which anyone can do if they're over 14 ????

Really good for all the family. There are lots of things to look at, and at 40 mins, this is one of of the longer (if not the longest) miniature railway rides we've been on.
