Hired a day boat extremely pleased with the service. Booked over the phone the day before. 4hr rental with a 0830am pick up. Guys were great in getting us going and a lovely morning had down to the Abbey and back. Recommend.

Just the place to hire a motor boat for Hooning around on the River Bure. Canvas tops allow for all weather drinking parties and the boats are able to go at at least double the permitted speed through Horning Village. Because you're hiring for the day you'll be gone by tomorrow so it's unlikely anyone will stop you.

The distinctive but faded graphics on a Brinks boat means people will watch out for you coming and keep our of your way. Ignore anyone with a radar gun - there's nothing he can do. Watch canoes and sailing dinghies bob about in your wash, with the occupants shaking their fist. You have complete impunity - be the king of the river!

For cashed up bogans their sister company does cruisers.

If anyone from Barns goes and restricts the speed of their hire craft I will have to alter this review, of course.

It's been suggested that these day-boats "need" to go at 7mph to get across Braydon. Given that:

(a) it takes six hours to get from Wroxham to Yarmouth it hardly seems realistic one would get that far in a day (never mind back); and

(b) as the hirer information points out, around the upper Bure and Ant and Waverny the speed limit is 3-5mph anyway; and

(c) someone with a radar gun at Horning will be along to name and shame, and Barns day-boats are consistently fastest, and operated by people who draw attention to themselves;

it may be a time to restrict these boats to 4-5mph and set a cruising limit such that hirers don't get in a position where they have to speed back (which may account for a lot of the problem), weaving in and out of other boats, in order to get back on time. Acle Bridge, Barton Broad and Potter are about as far as you can go in one day without speeding.

Sadly, after an incredible drive for two hours, you let yourselves down by leaving us stranded with nowhere to park that didn't mean trespassing onto unsafe ground across the water. You didn't answer your phone either on a Sunday evening. Also, your older boats need a good scrub...

Had a great few hours on the boats. Great staff service and boat. Wonderful surprise bumping in to a ice cream boat serving ice creams on the mooring along the water.

Hired a picnic boat for the day. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Gave us all the information we needed and answered any questions we had. We had a great day on the broads. Thanks

People are very careless. Our boat was giving to someone else even we booked a month ago. Very bad place, recommend not to go.

Very bad place, my boat is taken by a random guy even we booked 1 month ago

We booked a deluxe boat with countertops and toilets, but the replacement boat didn't have anything very simple, not even a table, so I didn't accept it.
