Cottingley Hall crematorium service lasted for 20 minutes approximately and was host to a large number of mourners. The staff made the experience as considerate and courteous as they were able.

I would like to know if anybody has flowers taken from Lawn 2 ?? I've tried to ring the Telephone number that says its incorrect so can't speak to anyone. They have put notices on some of the trees stating that any memorials or christmas wreaths etc: Flowers in Cellophane will be removed several times a day by the staff so my Brother and I visited Lawn 2 on the 27th Jan he arrived at 10.45 am put flowers done in Memory of our Dad he took them out of the Cellophane then I went at 1pm to lay my Flowers down only to find my Brothers flowers had disappeared !!! I find this totally Disrespectful and Cannot understand the Logic behind this Happening as it's not even the time to be cutting the grass .

The staff are nice and very efficient.
Car park needs to be a lot bigger and the exit can be a knightmare with cars constantly cutting you up.
If the weather is not great make sure you bring an umbrella as there is almost no place to stand under any cover.
There is a small room with a few seats, however it's not massive and can quickly get filled up.

A plot has been squashed behind my grandmothers headstone forcing it forwards the phone number to contact them about it does not exist ! Not pleased at all

Cant agree more with a previous review, small, busy, no where to sit or stay uncovered when bad weather. When visiting to place flowers in the small room not very private for you or the funeral that is happening at the time, too near the chapel. Not alot of parking spaces. No where to greet guest that have attended the funeral afterwards, very cramped. Not very well thought out the layout of the buildings. As this is the only local crematorium people have no choice but to use it.

My 8 month old sister's funeral was held here in 1976 then my father in 2007, and one day me also. Would not have it at any other place. It's peaceful and quiet, a good place to sit and reflect on the people you have loved and lost.

This place is in a horrid location, surrounded by busy roads and overlooked by tower blocks. There is no feeling of peace and tranquility, I can't think of a worse place to end your days when there are alternatives, unless you view convenience as your main priority.
