Nice place. It’s part of the Hatta Mountain Conservation Reserve – the only refuge in Dubai for endangered animals endemic to the mountain environment. The reserve also holds significant historical importance with ancient pottery found in the valleys.

Drive your car along the dam, hike a bit between photo stops, and spend some time soaking up the natural beauty of the mountainous area.

A little known dam. People usually don't visit it, as the access road to the dam is kind of hidden. Great place for photography, and the milky way is visible at night.

Hatta conservation area or the reservoir dam is a nice place. However there is actually nothing much to do but Kayak. if your not into Kayaking then you can take some selfie there then heads towards the next destination. Bring your on food . food vendor will be far from the site. No eating while kayaking. Dont park in the undesignated parking coz you will surely get a fine.Built to capture sweet water. The dam is just a modest size not to scenic. The best time to visit will be winter season because summer will be too hot.

Far from city life. Peaceful place. You can only take a 4x4 their but it’s really fun.
