Delicious and offer the best value for money!
The restaurant has many options, we tried beef and duck with noodles and rice. The dishes were perfect. It is indeed the most affordable Michelin stared meal. It is a must try restaurant for all Asian food lovers.
The food court is also calm, clean, and neat.
We went on the weekend and found a place immediately

Is it good? It's edible.

Is it worth it? NO. The chicken in this photo is a "large" serving. While the medium beef had 4 small pieces of beef, 4 large chunks of carrots and 2 slices of ginger. Both served with a slice of cold "soy egg" and a sad piece of broccoli.

Is it worth going to? Yes. For the main reason that there are better food shops next to it.

I tried to see what’s the fuss is about just like the curious cat ???? no more long queues but I came around 3pm on a Friday. Still you have to get seated and wait for a few minutes. Overall the food is okay for a fast food. I only tried the soy chicken. It’s sweet for my palate. Nice location in the mall! Much more relaxing than the main food court.

DISGUSTING. I wish i can give a ZERO STAR. The plate looks beautiful to look at ONLY. The meat is pure chewy fat and skin. Very harsh and unpleasant taste. Nothing about this dish was good. Even the steamed edamame was old and almost spoiled. Please dont waste your money at this place.

Chicken and duck had a lot of bones and not enough meat.

Sauce flavour was great!

Portion size mediocre. Got the large plate of chicken rice but the amount of chicken they served felt like medium size.

Overall not bad but not great. Could be better. However I would say give this place some time and a chance to perfect their craft. They just opened and probably are trying to find their way. I have no doubt in a couple months it’ll be improved.

Definitely worth trying so you can get a taste of what a Michelin star restaurant tastes like.

We chose the roasted duck and rice as well as the fried dumplings. Everything tasted amazing and even better knowing the value for money especially as it’s Michelin star.
I will point out there was alot of bone in duck which was annoying but overall a hidden gem in the dubai mall, we made sure to get there early! We will be back very soon!

Food taste is Sad! Not recommended. Save money and fly to SG!

Mei is way too soaked. Duck no taste and no charcoal grilled.
Good thing is on-side broccoli but not the point!

There was big hype when Hawker Chan opened in Dubai. People used to line up for 45 minutes to get their food. I decided to wait, until I went last night, Monday at 19:30. To my surprise, the place was empty there was no lineup and I got my food in almost 10 minutes. I ordered the medium braised beef with noodles and the medium duck with rice. Unfortunately the medium serving is not enough for a hungry person who skipped lunch.

The braised beef and noodles are tasty but don’t meet the standard of a Michelin star. On there other hand, I definitely had better Duck in other restaurants. The way the duck is chopped is irritating as there are bones everywhere and there is no way you can eat it with the fork and spoon that they provide and no way the chopsticks will do any good either. The portion of actual duck meat on the plate is disappointingly tiny. To make things worse the amount of sauce on the duck dish is not enough for the amount of rice. Leaving me with bland tasteless steamed rice on its own.

I was disappointed saying the least, if I knew I would not have driven 24 Kilometers to go try Hawker Chan. If I’m in Dubai Mall and in the mood for Chinese I will give the other stalls a try or I opt for my tried and tasted favorites Din Tai Fung or New Shanghai Restaurant.
