Been using this taxi company for at least 8 years without any issues. But this year so far they have been very unreliable and random price hikes. Today though was the worst. Sent cab to wrong address, Turns off meter 1.5 mins into the journey was at standard rate £4. Goes past my drop off point, once on the correct road told driver to make next left and he goes straight past, after 0.7miles has the cheek to charge me £6. Complaint going to Council

Charged me £40 from leighton buzzard to Milton Keynes (16mins journey) , he wanted £58 to begin with but still £40 for going up the road it’s an Absolutely OUTRAGEOUS price never using this company again.

I wish I had read these reviews before using D&R Taxis. Don’t make the same mistake that I did. Horrific old cars that feel incredibly unsafe, the driver couldn’t hear a word I was saying (likely due to having earphones in the entire journey) and they charged me £10 for a 7 minute journey - no metre. There are plenty of other great taxi services in LB, do not use this one.

We booked a cab the day before for a Night out in Milton Keynes on a Saturday night. Asked us to confirm our address with a text. Done. Thanked for the text by the driver.
Next Day, Saturday.
No sign of the Cab 5 minutes after the said time, gave them a call.
No he does not have a booking for us?
No he can not send a cab?
Not got our messages as deleted them all last night?
Not sorry, what a farce!
As long as I live in Leighton Buzzard you will never get business from me again. It took a while to find another cab company that was able to send me to MK. Choose AA Taxis as they show up when they say and charge what they said they would too.

I’m a young woman and booked a taxi for 12:55 at night at the station, they then didn’t pick up their phone when i got off the train & left me here for aprox 20 minutes on my own, had to call my boyfriend to pick me up, no regard for the safety of their customers. Won’t be using again.

Checked the website for a rough guide for the fares - Leighton to Aylesbury was £18. I was travelling on a Sunday so knew it would be more, ended up being £36. Really disappointing, and the driver did not know where Aylesbury theatre was either, so had to be dropped in the town and walk down from there. Either check your fare when you book or don't use... I'll be doing the latter.

I have used this service for over 9years. Find the drivers friendly, caring and have good manners. Recently had a scary moment when I thought I lost my wallet, the driver was very patient,calm and reassuring. He actually found the wallet which had slipped down the side of the chair. Thank you

Have used this company for 20+ years and i think they are great. Rafeez is super, honest and extremely professional. Not sure genuine the other reviews are.
