Great mtb trails. Obviously you have to hit the climbs to get to come down fast. My friend complained about too much peddling for little downs but I thought it was a great day out. I've heard it's always wet but it was cracking the flags on our visit so no problems. I say well worth a shot.

Wales' hidden mtb gem. What a fantastic day out. Easy parking. Well signposted route. Option for shorter or longer ride. Incredibly well designed but very natural feeling tracks. A magical feel to the place with some truly brilliant single track, the best I've ever ridden. When we visited it rained the entire ride which only added to the experience and atmosphere. Unfortunately there were a couple of sections closed due to forestry operations but still such a great day out. The fact this forest feels so remote and how extensive, well thought out and awesome the trails are is a real credit to the volunteers who built it. For really flowing single track through spectacular scenery it doesn't get better than this. A must visit if you go to North Wales.

Wow I done the full loop and its the best singletrack I have ever done in my life. I have been so many Mountain Biking places and this one beats them all. It has everything you can imagine from technial rocky sections to jumps and drops and berms and servel wooden slopes.

This trail also has amazing views and stunning scenery and has serval river waterfalls and everything about this trail is so good.

It's also very clearly marked so you won't get lost. Also has parking and it's a must visit if your into Mountain Biking.

Five out of five for sheer enjoyment. Technical and fast in places. Some quite challenging up hill single track. Take everything you need with you as it’s remote once your on the trails. I will definitely be back. Finally, give generously at the honesty box to help with the up keep of this hidden gem.

Always wet, but always good fun! No facilities at the trailhead but not very far from Penmachno village, usually quiet so easy parking, maps and info boards, well signposted. The trails are rocky and Red graded with a focus on technical, narrow singletrack. Hardtail is fine, short travel 29er would be perfect, enduro bikes unnecessary.

Great place for mountain biking, very secluded and quiet. The trails are maintained well however it is very wet there but that adds to the excitement.

Quality trails with amazing views. Could do with a bit more tlc on the 2nd loop, when I rode it there was a couple of bits of damaged boardwalk and it was very overgrown. (Reported it to them) no facilities bar a car park but there is a pub down the road in the village of Penmachno

I know its local lads that take care of this loop and fair play to them but it was close to unrideable when I went in September. Too overgrown and standing water up to your axles just do the red loop as the other needs a canoe and a machete to get around
