Definitely a great place for south Indian ( Tamil Nadu) food. Breakfast is great here. Lunch is decent.

Mini tiffin is a must try. Their dosa varieties are good.

Food is above average quality but too expensive. Cost vs quality is not at the highest but acceptable. Staff is very attentive and helpful. It’s better to try with South Indian dishes. The food taste is above average and quantity is good.

Superb food.

Do not miss: karuveppala soup, Parotta korma, ghee roast and masala milk.

Staff Ramalingam is especially gracious and welcoming. Also the service is prompt!

If you want to try Masala dosa in a traditional Tamil style restaurant, this is the place.
A real authentic Tamil restaurant.

The staff can be a bit more nice to the customers. (That’s why I am giving 4 stars otherwise it could have been 5.)

If you are going there with family, try their family roast.

Taste their Dosa and you won't go anywhere else. The texture is too good, taste is addictive!, The chutneys and sambar are simply heavenly!
In spite if the premium pricing, this is No.1

If you are a south indian and especially from Tamilnadu, Saravanaa Bhavan is a noted prominent vegetarian restaurant serving south indian vegetarian delicacies.

Their food is consistent across all their restaurants and is not the greatest in terms of taste and flavor, but a decent choice for a common man(low in $$ spend). Simple food presented and prepared fresh and hot. The food does not have an overload of salt and oil. One of the highlights of south indian food is the condiments accompanying the order which are a bit disappointing in these restaurants, they miss the punch and render the entire dish/order a bit average.

Their Filter coffee is really punchy and is typical to that Tamilnadu/karnataka style, very addicting and consistent across all their branches.

Their service is good and staff maintain the premises very clean and spotless. During these pandemic times, all necessary social distancing and sanitization precautions are implemented. The tables are smaller and spread apart and immediately cleaned once the customers leave the table.

There is a loft level seating with bigger seating capacity which is opened for service now a days only on weekends. It is an ideal place for a small private gathering or a small party.

They have a number of sweets on display which are a treat and specialty to South India.

There is a small hand wash in the ground floor and a toilet in the loft seating area for customers.

This restaurant is located in the ground floor of a very long building at a couple of meters higher than the road level. There is a big public parking in front of this restaurant. However, this restaurant is not wheelchair friendly. The ramp to the restaurant is located far off from the entrance and the entry to the restaurant is one step above the walkway making it not suitable for wheelchair.

It is a humbling feeling for me whenever I visit this restaurant.

Saravana Bhavan is known for their quality and excellence in the South Indian cuisine. Visited this outlet for dinner on a weekend. Wasn’t too crowded, so we immediately got a table.
Must try (4/5): Kara Dosa, Kothu Parotta

The food is decently portioned. Pocket-friendly prices. The service was quick and prompt.

A simple authentic South Indian Restaurant serving traditional dishes. Service is average and staff are not very polite but the taste of the food takes precedence over their service. Their filter coffee is a not to miss item though expensive.
