Totally not impressed with the staff. We stood close by while two staff people helped a couple purchase something. Then lunch delivery came... we are still standing there...back to helping the people at the counter....chit chat more....we are still waiting.... not at all impressed with the staff. We’d love to purchase an Eames chair. I’ll find another place to purchase it now.

Booking a private tour with Sublime Scotland was the best thing we decided about our trip to Scotland. Susan and John were in contact with us consistently from the time we booked our trip in Fall 2020 to finally being able to take our trip in May 2022. Susan was so helpful in her suggestions of what to do and not to do. She was always prompt picking us up (always early) and patient when we got behind. She amazed us with the stories as well as the places she took us. She always made sure we were happy and comfortable and when we needed to change our itinerary during our trip she was great at helping us change it and when we needed a rest she knew that as well. She was professional , helpful , kind and knowledgeable. Her vehicle was always clean and tidy. She made luncheon and dinner reservations for us and always great places. Her recommendations for accommodations were great and when I had trouble finding accommodations she was more than helpful. Our 4 days together went by quickly and Susan had lots of information, stories and and places for us to see. She even surprised us with a few places that we found to be the best part of our trip. Scotland was spectacular and Sublime Scotland made sure we got to see it without any worries.

We highly recommend Susan and John at Sublime Scotland , you will not be disappointed!

If your travels ever take you to Scotland, do not hesitate to reach out to Susan. We expressed interest in a day trip to see the grounds of St. Andrews Golf Course. From there, she took over and worked her magic. Not only was Susan punctual in her communication prior to our arrival, she was also very thorough. Her attention to detail was impeccable. Susan even went so far as to ensure that we were able to view the golf museum despite its unexpected closure for day long maintenance. Susan’s charm and humor only helped to propel our overall experience. The memories you create with her will be with you for a lifetime.

Our family of 4 had a spectacular 6 day tour of Scotland with John from Sublime Scotland!

John was extremely knowledgable and shared very interesting historical events that shaped the places we visited. He is a considerate guide who made us feel very safe and comfortable throughout the journey. He was willing to be flexible to accommodate our detours, something we greatly appreciate.

Susan was extremely prompt and clear on emails and ensured a very smooth booking process and itinerary planning. She even accommodated our request to see the Glenfinnan Viaduct (the Harry Potter train!). All her accommodation recommendations were also excellent, saving us the additional research.

Do not hesitate to book with Susan and John at Sublime Scotland! When we decided to plan our first family trip to Scotland from Canada, we knew we wanted a tour guide to show us parts of Scotland that the regular tourist may not see. Our internet search led us to Sublime Scotland, because it kept the experience intimate, and not "canned."

I contacted Susan and she was quick to reply and a follow up phone call was planned. Three months later, the four of us were seeing the most beautiful countryside and delightful small town spots that I had no idea existed! Day One with Susan's husband John was filled with unique spots, and John's quiet droll demeanor was most welcome! Day Two with Susan was so delightful as well. Both John and Susan really listen to your requests and needs during the trip, and do their best to make the experience unique. They are very flexible and they are both great ambassadors for their beloved country!!

It's been 7 months since we got back and we are already planning a return trip. We will definitely be contacting Sublime Scotland for that, which will be easy because we have kept in touch with Susan over the past few months as she became a friend overseas!

My husband and I had an amazing day with Susan while on our holiday to Scotland. Together via email, we were able to create a customized day tour from Edinburgh that included visiting Rosslyn Chapel, Loch Lomond, and Stirling Castle. Susan was punctual with pick up and an excellent driver/ guide. We shared lots of laughs throughout the day as well as many interesting stories on a variety of topics. Susan is committed to excellence and genuinely ensures that her guests enjoy their day with her. At the day's end we felt like we had made a new friend for life. We highly recommend booking with Sublime Scotland!!!!!

With only 4 days and 3 nights in Scotland, I knew we were going to need some help if we wanted to fit everything in that we wanted to see in such a short time. I was recommended to contact Susan at Sublime Scotland, and I’m so glad we did as Scotland was the highlight of our trip! Susan was fabulous to work with from the beginning - very responsive, flexible with options and great suggestions.

John was our guide for the trip. He was very friendly, accommodating and thoughtful, even making dinner arrangements for us in advance in a small town as he knew we wouldn’t be able to get in at the last minute, which also ended up being one of our favourite meals! John’s knowledge made the trip even more interesting as he was able to answer any questions we had.

Both my husband and I highly recommend Susan and John Ross at Sublime Scotland, don’t look any further for your travel needs in Scotland!

Although our trip to Scotland was too short, we had a great glimpse of it!
John, thank you so much for showing us a bit of your incredible country. We enjoyed it every step of the way! Loved the castles, loved the history, loved your stories, loved the food, loved the songs and your every now and then singing ☺️.
Thank you for taking care of us, and beign spotless in every detail. Susan, you have an amaizing partner! Thank you for sharing him with us for a couple of days… and thank you for the “backstage work”, that its always invisible but as equal as important!
We hope to return soon!!

My Mother and I had a delightful time with Susan in her very comfortable Honda CR-V. Susan was very helpful in planning an itinerary incorporating the sites we wanted to see including the Borders, St. Andrews and Loch Ness. She helped us recognize the time and travel limitations of our ambitious plans. I recommend Sublime Scotland without hesitation for a stellar touring experience.
