Worst experience with me 2nd time I have never seen this kind of worst customer service plus delivery guy doesn’t know who’s the right customer I was waiting over 1 hour for my food, their delivery boys give my food to someone else without any confirmation,

I am delighted with Sheffield College’s Revive and Beauty Therapy Services.
You get greeted by a Amazon Ngh member of staff -,Revive Administrator, Erica. The experience enhances as you meet Paula and Kerry, the tutors.
The Revive students are all so helpful, so well trained and very professional. The team is just so wonderful and so understanding.
I can definitely say that the staff and students at Revive have helped me so much that I can’t praise them enough.
I want to say a big thank you to Paula and Erica especially for their help.
I feel more confident & happier.
Visiting Revive is definitely a special experience for me.
Thank you to the team at Sheffield College Revive & Beauty Therapy team. ????.

Awful.
The college doesn’t care about the students and will even blame you for doing all your work on time and for having 0 work to do. I chose a course here (it was a level 3 diploma for IT) because I was told on their website that I would be doing a computer games development course (which is something I am heavily interested in) only to get told that we aren’t doing it. We also were supposed to have a trip to the National computer museum last November which we were told 3 days before the trip that it wasn’t happening because the college forgot to book any transport. Also in my 1st year, we were forced to resit an entire exam because the college somehow “lost” our exam results. The college doesn’t care about the students and only cares about what will make them money. The higher ups are acting like headless chickens and need replacing before this joke of a college goes bankrupt. It’s not fair on any students dedicating 2 years of their time to a college where the staff do not care. The teachers are amazing and actually have knowledge about the subjects they are teaching but they do not care about tutoring any of the students.

Place treats apprentices like trash but most of the IT teachers are sound, shout out to John McToal for being amazing, people like him are the back bone of teaching.

Awful college, had nothing but bad experiences with both my sons going there. The first instance he kept phoning to find out when he started back and they kept on saying they would let him know. He’d emailed, phoned and physically been in several times. No one got back to him then when someone finally bothered to contact him they hadn’t told him he needed to re enrol to carry on with the same course he’d been doing for the past year. My second son did engineering and construction here and they told him he’d failed the course and lo and behold he’s just received his certificate with two level 3 BTECS passed with Distinctions! Do not bother sending your sons and daughters here. Send them somewhere that cares. The campus itself is like a prison and the staff are horrible.

Electrical installation - tutors are amazing can’t fault them. However the student support team are an actual joke. All over the place there’s no organisation at all in the offices can’t even give people bare minimum of a response. Or even respond to a complaint form. They also fob you off in person. Fire them all and get new staff in your offices because they seem to be acting like headless chickens walking around aimlessly as the best way to describe it. Basically getting paid to sit around all day twiddling their thumbs and looking at previous reviews I’m not the only one who’s noticed.

I have studied a Foundation Degree in Graphic Design at Hillsborough College that was run by SHU. They are in partnership with this institution. The teaching here is dreadful, tutors would be unkind , rude and cruel towards a student that is paying for a course at this institution. Namely in the graphic design department.

I have recently complained to this institution concerning racism and discrimination received from a tutor on several of occasions. During sessions a lecturer would say his eyes would always become blurry when he came across my name via register on early arrival to sessions. A lecturer would then mark me down as absent as he pleased repeatedly. There were many other racism and discrimination encounters with the same lecturer.

I had complained about this but the institution did not do anything to address this issue. The Foundation Degree here is poor value for money.

They only gave me my tuition fees for my resit year. I did not get my resit tuition fee back either according to Student Finance England. I went to resit my modules with them because their Head of faculty during the time mentioned to me that my experience "would change" and would become "more positive" as the racist lecturer would not be there. But however this was not the case as the lecturer was still there.

During the complaint process there were unwilling to give my first tuition fee back because they had lied and said that I did not file any complaint with them before during my first year. When in fact I did. I raised this with the Head of Faculty. I told them : I am the customer and I wanted high quality education in return not poor quality in return for money. But in the end they gave me a poor quality education.

During the complaints process I was promised a "fresh start" from their Vice Principal. He had transferred me to Sheffield Hallam University, only for this institution landing me in an over-payment situation. They said their Vice Principal had "helped" me in transferring me to Sheffield Hallam University. How were you helping me when you made everything worse?

I had taken my complaint to the next step which was with SHU because I was unhappy with the offer that Sheffield College had presented to me. During the SHU complaints process they had presented me with the same offer.

Sheffield College also mentioned to Sheffield Hallam University on my proposal letter that I had apparently refused my first tuition fee payment and that they was going to award me this in the first place along with my resit tuition fee. But the Sheffield College had lied about this during the complaints process. The management team of this institution are very cold hearted towards their students and care more about your money than anything else. Neglect received from management.

You are very inhumane. You were the one that had landed me in an overpayment situation. The offer received from both you and SHU I did not get to keep any of it in the end due to the overpayment. Shame yourselves!

I am from a low income family background combined with being in long term unemployment and you did this to me? You chosen to wrangle during the complaints process and made my medical condition from an excellent state to a more deteriorated state. You went all the way from taking advantage of my medical condition to not caring about my circumstances or the racism, discrimination received from one of your lecturers. You had turned the blame on me ( one of your own students ) and you did not want to admit when you were the one at fault. You seem to care more about money rather than a student's college experience. Your advertisement saying 'Equality' is both misleading and false advertising.

There were many other negative encounters that I had came across during my study on the Foundation Degree here which they do not want to admit to.

You should not be running Foundation Degrees. Poor value for money and I would not recommend anyone that is thinking about coming here to study. Look elsewhere. Get more value for your money.

I was applicable for a travel bursary and was asked how I travelled, and I said I took the train. I was sent a travelmaster card with no instructions on how to use it so I went to student services and they informed me that It didn't work on trains even though it did. 3 months of back and forth with them and I finally got hold of someone who actually knew what they were talking about. There's probably only a handful of good tutors here too. Hated my experience here, I would not recommend it. There was also this law tutor who I had for the first year of college called Alex Goddard who completely obliterated my mental health and any hope of passing that course. So many students had issues with her and they kept her on teaching

Very disappointed, applied 3 months ago for a course i really wanted to do , I went to the college around 5 times nobody had information about nothing there . They called me for enrolment ,on 13 of September , and an incapable woman of the enrolment team told me this course its only for the 16 -19 target . Which they didn't mention like requirement when i applied . I contacted them by email and told them what the lady said to me . They answered " Oh maby someone gave you the wrong information , because this course it is for adults , but now we are full unfortunately " . I was waiting for months coming and going there for an answer an this is the end , people who stand there to enrol people , and don't have the minimum information about the courses. Really Disgusting
