Best smash burgers. Have to try their Wagyu smash, it is out the world. The meat tastes very premium and really works on your palette. Fries is also very good with the right amount of seasoning.

Where do I even begin? This shop has absolutely, without a doubt, become my favourite model railway shop I've ever been to. It's away from the city so getting there isn't so hard and you're not stuck in congestion around busy times like Christmas.

I've been stuck inside having to buy my locos and wagons online for prices I don't really agree with, I usually dive in for second hand stock as I get more stuff for cheap. I walk in this shop for the first time ever and I am AMAZED at everything, it's a lovely big floor of supplies and second hand stock on the big tables and in tubs under the tables but other parts like track and buildings too, with new stock around the walls and on small shelves holding some other second hand stock too dotted around the floor. I was amazed at everything as I've only been to smaller shops with not a lot of variety, this was different.

Under the 00 second hand table and test layout is spares & repairs and non runner locos, so many lovely bargains and locos for me to fix and repaint! The staff are friendly and welcoming, and if you're part of a railway club yourself you get a 10% discount on your purchases as you're in, I ended up basically only paying for my fleet of 0-4-0 Lima shunters (which I'm having fun repairing!), two tankers, a Mainline Class 45 (was a real bargain, all that's busted is one drive gear but runs brilliant) and two Lima MK2s for only £80, the other bits I had like diesel headcode bits and a spare clarabel coach body was basically free in the discount, I highly recommend you stop reading my lengthy review and go in there yourself, once I learn to drive I'll be visiting much more often, if only I could come in more, sadly my college isn't anywhere near here haha, brilliant shop, a 10/10 and I wish a very long life for this hidden gem of Norwich.

Wonderful shop with friendly and helpful staff. Lots of great items in stock for all gauges and a good selection of 2nd hand items too. Bought two n gauge 2nd hand steam engines, Flying Scotsman and the Aberdonian both of which were in excellent condition and the staff ran them as well for us. Would I recommend this shop? Absolutely! A must for any enthusiast. We will be back! Thank you.

Been meaning to go here for some time but finally got around to it. Great shop, plenty of stock to look at from N gauge to O gauge (I can dream). They have a little car park around the back too, which is handy.

First time of visiting the shop. Was amazed at the range the they in stock. Definitely will be going back on a regular basis. And the staff were brilliant.

I visited Great Eastern Railway Models for the first time yesterday while on a trip to Norwich. Wow - what a fantastic shop! Huge range of models and related products (new and pre-loved) and reasonably priced. Staff were super-helpful and so friendly. I predict many more visits in the near-future!

Hello, I paid a visit on Friday to Great Eastern Models. It is really convenient getting the bus in Castle Meadow and I was able to change buses and getting off outside the shop on Plumstead Road. The Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and is a model Railway paradise. Excellent supplies of New and Second Hand models.

Lovely friendly shop selling a huge range of both new and secondhand model railway items and accessories. Also hosts a fun and informative Facebook group on railway related matters. Will order and pre-order items for delivery or collection.
