This review is about La Fontana Restaurant @ Stella Di Mare Hotel- Dubai Marina, its five-star property. visited the place for family dinner. Going to Dubai Marina, you need always to put in mind traffic and Parking, as soon as I sorted the traffic part the restaurant sorts out the parking matter as to valet or self-parking which was amazing, and I can’t stop emphasizing on self-parking as best option to go with. The welcome team were kind and professional to recognize us and give us proper table. The restaurant was half operational due to Covid following the necessary persuasions thou did not see any sanitizers at the diner or the washroom. The place is clean & simple knowing its 5* property. suitable for business and family. There were 3 main sections, hot food, cold and salads and last one for sweets. The water & proper crookery & cutlery set were kept on the tables, and yes this is the right way & we missed it a lot. Few main dishes, but you get Fish or Veg or beef choices & they were appropriately prepared, the salad bar can be improved, I guess the same applies to the sweets. Who don’t love Pizza, yes its in house and its freshly backed, wished if they were choices. The service crew tend to hide to avoid being asked for any service which dismay the role and purpose, the manager need to look into this matter and urge the staff to be available. The place needs more decoration and entertainment or background music. They accept Cash and card payments and I think the manager mentioned some discount cards. Overall, it was a good day & good dinner in this place, so thank you for taking good care of your customers, keep up the good job.

Sadly I loved this place before and visited few times before for Ramadan iftar even recommend it for a couple of friends before but in 2023 , it was the worst experience ever . Why? ITS NOT IFTAR BUFFET so dont say it is????
The food collection is very poor for such price adding clear hygiene issue were we found a hair in the food and we called the waitress and chef about it ???? , after such appetizer we literally didn't eat anything.
but that's not the worst yet, although it was a staff mistake as per their supervisor words (Mina) to add my below 6yr child to the bill and that I have to pay for it as it cant be changed , later on he started shouting when I told him am not paying as my child is below 6 age and that the staff got it wrong? I ask him to resolve it quickly since I was waiting for him to resolve it in the first place and he told me that he still needed to call another person yet , I asked him that i need to leave and to charge the correct amount as I have 3 children waiting with my wife, whome later on got stuck in the car because the security actually took the keys of my car from the valet guy and left my family Including 10 month baby in the car without AC, I called police about it , then their security lied about me punching him ???? so they would send someone?
To avoid keeping my family stuck in such situation, I ended up paying 350+ for 2 adults iftar
Not to mention it's not iftar buffet any how , literally no one was there at Azan time , worst atmosphere ever if ur fasting, mostly gusts at the hotel started coming for dinner time
NOT A SINGLE LIVE STATION IN IFTAR TIME . And when we asked they said it opens at 9 ????

I went to the brunch with my friend and I enjoyed it so much. They have a DJ playing a lot of different food options and delicious deserts. The staff is friendly and helpful. Looking forward to visit again!

La Fontana is a beautiful restaurant located in Stella Di Mare Hotels & Resorts, Dubai Marina.

We visited this beautiful restaurant for their buffet. The spread was humongous, theme was International Cuisine. Loved the food served there especially the grill fish in spinach sauce, pizza and the veg tempura ordered from live station. Enjoyed the buffet immensely. The service was top notch, all the servers were polite and courteous.

The went for Iftar buffet the place is nice. The variety of food is good. The taste of food is good.However the grills are not that good they are over cooked and have no taste.

The La Fontana Brunchlicious is one of a kind Brunch we didn’t expect the wide variety of International cuisine. My fave are the grilling station and Italian section. The staffs/service are 100% amazing. By the way their desert section is insane super tempting and delicious.

Went for a dinner date with my husband and we both loved it. The ambience is amazing, good music, good food. The live pizza station and dessert bar is just awesome. A personal shout out to Jocelyn and Allen who took special care of us and made our experience there even more enjoyable. Definitely will be recommending to friends and family and will 100% be going back there soon.

Got so disappointed, beef has foul smell, texture is chewy and less variety of food. Overall average.
