My go to place for an early morning dip. Very accessible and we'll maintained. It's not just an open beach, but also a food haven. I don't get to eat there in the morning though as most of the stores are still closed, I'm saying before 8 Am ????.

Warm water and salty just the way I like it. Beach chairs are way overpriced and not even in good condition. We have traveled all over the world and 150 durhams or 50 CAD PER CHAIR IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. The sand, ocean and palm trees were beautiful. Plant some more greenery. Put the swimming markers further out some people can actually swim ????u200d♂️ ????

Vibrant ambience by the beach, great eatery options, murals and abstract crafts around. Another place to hang out with friends or take the fam for an outing kinda place. I personally enjoyed the lights and designing to the place m, but I feel like I might have missed out on the watermark attraction cause it did seem to be closed by the time I got there.
Worth a visit.

Very beautiful open beach with relaxing walking area full of coffee/juice spots, restaurants and even a sitting area near the beach for ultimate enjoyment. Great area for families, friends and even a solo getaway

A very nice place to spend the day, although I found it very abandoned. Most of the shops seemed to have closed down, and a few restaurants remain, but the overall atmosphere is a little strange and sad. The place itself is beautiful and very tranquil.

Went on Tuesday evening. It's pretty empty and nearly half the shops are closed. Maybe they open up on weekends but can't confirm. Pretty okaish beach. Might enjoy with kids on weekends when the whole place lights up like a carnival.

I was blown by that beautiful sunset view. One perfect place for kids to enjoy too. Best place for photo lovers.

Head to the La Mer beach if you want to spend the day relaxing, stretching out on the golden sands and watch the sunset. The best season to visit the beach and take in the sea breeze is often between the months of October and February. Timber walkways, palm tree boulevards and promenades lined with restaurants and shopping stalls, bars and ice cream parlors add to the charm of the place. There is no entrance fee to visit La Mer beach and waterfront destination unless you are trying any water sports.
RTA buses are accessible and stops at Beach Center 2 if you'd like to board the bus to the beach.
