A waste of facilities since by parking your bike here is as safe as parking it on the street or even worse, since this seems to be burglars paradise…

My bike got stolen. I spoke to the security guy that happened to be around, & he told me to speak to the personnel in the station, since they admin the parking. The person from the ticket office told me to speak with the guys in platform 4 who apparently take care of these things. They said the person in the gate should let me through. But the person in the gate told me they can’t do anything so I should just call the police. They even told me their number: 101.

Bike stolen from here and all that was left was my wheel. The central fixture to lock my frame up was removed. Do NOT park here unless you have no choice

Great place to park, but like other comments i see, thieves appear to operate with impunity. I just had my bike nicked over the weekend. I used an expensive d-lock to attach it to the bracket of a raised rack on the top level right next to to the CCTV. They removed the bracket and must have carried it down two flights with the locks still attached. Why are the brackets that flimsy!? why isn't there any security or effort made ot make this a secure location where people can travel as they should by bicycle and train. Another case of 'Broken Britain' I'm afraid.

I would NOT recommend leaving a good bike here. Mine was stolen & there seems to a complete lack of contact information there & online.

Do not use if you have an bike of any value! This bike store is unsafe and unmonitored, you will get no assistance from the security or the police in investigation or recovery when your bike is stolen. It's an absolute hot spot for cycle theft, parts too, you may lose your bike or just a wheel. Do not reccomend at all!

If you want to lose your bike/a wheel every time you park, then please choose Cambridge station cycle park. If you think parking in front of two CCTVs will help, then you are wrong!!
If you think reporting to the police to check the CCTV footage, you are mistaken. You will be told by the police that watching hours of footage just to find a missing bike/wheel is not worth their time and will be told to buy a new wheel. So, if you want to end up with half a bike and take a cab and pay extra to carry the broken bike, then I strongly recommend this place.

After an attempted theft of my bike from the station cycle park despite using three locks, I no longer cycle to the train station. CCTV is no deterrent, as Greater Anglia do not appear to monitor it and apparently do not always share footage with the police. The floor hoops are easily unbolted and even the raised racks are being removed with angle grinders. Anyone can enter at any time and security patrols are rare.

Avoid! Bike stolen yesterday. Used a good quality D lock but thief only had to remove two bolts from the bracket of the parking space / frame in order to get it. Presume they then took bike with D lock still attached.
