My visit to Maiz Tacos in JLT Dubai was an overall pleasant experience, and I am happy to give it four stars. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff was friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we stepped in.

We decided to try a variety of dishes, and we were not disappointed. The birria was undoubtedly the highlight of our meal. The tender and flavorful meat paired perfectly with the accompanying consommé, creating a mouthwatering combination that left us craving for more.

The queso and chips were a delightful treat as well. The cheese was rich and creamy, and the chips were fresh and crispy, making it a delightful appetizer to start our meal.

The carne asada was cooked to perfection, boasting a delicious char-grilled flavor. The meat was juicy and seasoned just right, making it a satisfying choice for any meat lover.

The service was attentive and efficient, ensuring that our orders were promptly taken and delivered. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations, which added to the overall positive experience.

However, the reason I am giving four stars instead of five is that the portion sizes felt slightly smaller than expected for the price. While the flavors were excellent, a bit more generous serving would have made the meal even more satisfying.

Overall a very nice restaurant in JLT. We ordered Birria Tacos ????, Birria Borrito and nacho tots. Then we added a delicious Churros and icream. Food quality is very good and delicious. Meat well cooked and the portions are big. There are seatings outside and inside the restaurant. Parking: you can find paid parking in Y cluster. Once you reach there you can take elevator from building to the lower level or you have to go down the stair and walk a minute to Maiz.
Jaime was a great waiter and he was so helpful in recommending food and giving honest advices. Thanks Jaime! Thanks Elizabeth!
Prices has to be a bit lower but overall we enjoyed the food and place.

Looking for Mexican food in the UAE? Mainz tacos is the place you want to try. Start with the Birra tacos, the dipping sauce for the birria tacos was pretty good. I also enjoyed the steak tacos. I am a fan of cheese, so I had to try the cheese dip appetizer, it definitely a good call. I will be back.

The best Mexican food I’ve ever tried in Dubai! Jamy and Elizabeth were very professional and welcoming. Food quality and portion size is worth the price.
Burria tacos and burritos are a must try!
For the dessert we took churros ice cream, it was amazing!

If there’s one hole-in-the wall eatery I would recommend, it would be Maiz!

Birria Tacos (not in photo) - the best tacos in Dubai! Big portions without compromising the quality. Already craving for it
Ordered Burger and Fries - patty was juicy and hits the right spot! Just found my favorite burger. Believe me, I’m a burger addict
Churros - Love the churros too - goes well coffee

I love the ambience and customer service! My new fave here in Dubai

Quality of food is outstanding. Bit expensive though considering it is a small eatery in a corner of JLT . We had grilled chicken nachos costing AED75! And sweet potato+black beans tacos and churros were all high quality and tasty.

Listen to me when I say ORDER THE BIRRIA! They come in hot n juicy so make sure they cool off for a bit. Hands down the best Birria tacos in Dubai. They also always place 2000’s RnB which fulfills the vibe. Good food, music, vibes, attentive staff!
