We arrived before service started and had a really excellent luncheon. Low alcohol Ghost Ship behind the bar was just the ticket for a lunch and the food was splendid. My mother and I tried dishes from the specials menu - the mussels were fabulous and the mackerel dish was one of the best I have ever had, using very off piste flavour combinations which really worked in unexpected ways. A lot of hard work, a thoughtful manue and an excellent focus on service makes it easy to see why this place keeps on winning awards and has done so for many years. My congratulations to the entire team!
