Used to be nice and organised when you wanted to buy something. Now the staff don't understand the concept of a queue, randomly selecting people from here and there like it's a bar. No order, no function. Customer service skills are also lacking, such as basic common courtesy. To be honest I try to avoid this branch if possible.

With the doorway from the mall locked, and the only way in through a little shutter it isn't very appealing. The bigger shutter never opens, surely open that and lock the door so still only 1 way in and 1 way out? The store itself is what you would expect from Boots, always clean and bright but could do with a couple of extra staff. I use it because it is convenient, but that is all.

My hubby just left here. Was left hanging around, ignored by the 4 staff at prescriptions, knew he was there. He said he waited at least 4 minutes before someone came over. He never makes a fuss but he said they were so bloody rude and ignorant!! Good job it wasn't me.

This branch of Boots never seems to have any staff located in the beauty / perfume area.
Apart from pharmacy staff the shop seemed to have no one else available.
Picked up mascara from stand and wanted advise about perfume for someone but no one around. Eventually replaced mascara in stand and left store. Visited Superdrug opposite and found same mascara on special offer. A very helpful assistant advised me on suitable perfumes. Great customer service.

Love this store. It's not huge but they stock most things and the staff are lovely. I love to chat with Bev on the No7 counter about skin care needs and what's new, all the pharmacy staff are friendly and helpful and the store manager Laura is both efficient in any crisis or just for asking where something is. Well recommended.
