This carboot is unrecognisable from years back I used to come Sunday and it was huge filling all the top of the racecourse and down the side into a crowded bottom part I also have sold a few times and you had to be up early to get in the sellers were cued in loads of rows it's a shame just not worth the trip now

What load of rubbish, everything should be thrown in a skip. It's only for ???? sad people with nothing else to do on a Sunday morning.

Getting more and more chinese tool stalls and market type stalls , I come here to go to car boot sales not a market plenty of people I have talked to say the same .
When it only has a few stalls mainly when or after raining they still charge full price admission.

Waste of time&entry fee.
When you hear people say "I've threw better in the bin"? really does sum this CB up ????
An abundance of old clothes&shoes lying on damp grass.
Broken toys,gardening equipment, a bike,lighting even ladders!!! (they just needed a few rivets apparently?????)
Worst CB I've ever visited!!!!

Not a great experience. Used to go to Whitby carboot but this has since closed so first time at Sedgefield. Sourced info on the Internet as unable to find any updated info on the Facebook page. I live 30 miles away and we had heavy showers at 05.30 am so understandably wanted to make sure it was still going ahead before travelling that . Searched further and found some info via Google which stipulated it was open to sellers at 06.30 (earlier if weather is fine). We arrived at 06.45 to find rows of queuing sellers sat in there cars waiting. After further research found out it actually opens at 07.30 to sellers (not 06.30). Found during the course of the morning that much of the clientele there really don't want to pay for anything (not even peanuts) and seemed to want everything for free. All in all we felt very demoralised. Won't go again, we'll try the new one at Ruswarp.
