Quality checks is worst. Always dull rotten old veggies. Nuts that have caught humidity. No proper staff available all time at vegetable and cheese section. I wish I can post a picture of rotten fruits that’s are always on shelf

Quiet disappointing they never have any offers and it’s always empty. It’s okay to buy few items but I don’t recommend for bulk quantities as they are over priced and they never have deals. They don’t even have a promotion card program like other supermarkets so really not worth it in the end.

Yesterday cashier from this store didn’t allow we me to buy water with my rabbit which was in portable carry box and berry calm inside !!!!very unfriendly to animals place .

A bit disappointing... I was really looking forward to it but unfortunately it feels just like any another Dubai supermarket with the same products as everywhere else. Very few unique or actual Monoprix branded products on the shelves (at least for the food stuff)
I wish it could be more like Monoprix in Qatar for example.
I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as they just opened and see how they'll evolve

Beautifully preserved and renovated Corn Mill that brings to life a bygone age. Set in a rolling countryside next to a river where it draws its power from via the huge water wheel. Free parking, extremely good value entrance fee, cafe , other attractions inc light railway. Toilets and a lovely little gift shop. However the star attraction was the mill. A fantastic working Mill with friendly staff and a very informative miller/tour guide who set the mill in motion and kept us beguiled with stories and facts. Lots to see, child friendly and one of the finest examples still going of such a iconic piece of Victorian Engineering and architecture, Great history as been a mill on this site since the 13th century. Please visit and help support the upkeep of this wonderful place for future generations.

ONE TIP - Ring before going as the website was out of date with times and dates open, so we had a wasted visit first time.

Really interesting history, enjoy the train to Etal and back. Lovely cafe and gift shop

We had a great time in the mill. Thought we spend a short time there waiting for the train at the neighbouring light railway but ended up spending over 1 hour with the children enjoying the expansions by the miller and getting engaged in operating the mill and seeing how it all works.
Nice shop where you can buy flour made in the mill.

A must visit! Inexpensive, friendly staff and really interesting too. The miller on hand was great giving lots of information and it was great to see the mill working. There was a little trail for the young children too to spot the mice (not real ones!!) A must visit if you're in the area!

Lovely place, just wish we'd had more time. Definitely plan a whole day to walk between the villages and look at everything.

Very informative and a rare experience to see a working mill. It was great to chat to the Miller who works on site and the kids got to turn the waterwheel on and help send a sack up through the trapdoor. Dough-making is available at certain times too and the mill products are available to buy in the gift shop. The tea rooms had a good variety of food available at reasonable prices.

A short walk up the hill from here is Flodden field, and/or you can go over the bridge and catch the steam train up the river to Etal Castle. It would be easy to make this a packed day out.

Great find whilst touring around on our bicycles with our little dog.
Beautiful old building restored to a high standard.
The cafe turn out some amazing food and very reasonably priced.
Well spaced tables and two floors available allows for social distancing.
Luckily they are dog friendly too!

Visited with family for Christmas market. Staff were very friendly and great with a four year old, showing him the workings of the water mill. We were delighted to buy their mead after sampling and other goods. Thanks.
