This is proper Croydon style library. Dirty, ran down, almost complete lack of service despite being located in such a monumental building: I went there with my 20 months old hoping to find some good book and a baby friendly space as most libraries nowadays have a decent kids space. Well, it was simply a big open space room with a bunch of old and dirty baby/toddlers books and a very depressing outlook. Shame on Croydon, please AVOID this dirty hole.

A great library filled with vast amounts of knowledge, I now cherish and value the library more than ever Post COVID, my favourite books are on nature, history, geography and biographies

I used the Internet facility as I needed to print some items. I checked in ,logged on and then sent items to print.
Very easy and very convenient..

Love it. A nice peaceful place in Croydon you can just relax. Friendly staff. The only bad thing is their computer systems go down sometimes, which is annoying. But I love going there at least 3 times a week to unwind and read/use the computer

I only use it to get books to read. Staff is very helpful. You can use the app to reserve books and ask for books from other libraries, this is very useful. The app also tells you when the book has arrive.

The library occupies 3 levels, every level is packed with books, cds, computers etc.
The ground floor has a good restaurant &a small museum,there are assistance on every level. Its a good place to read gather information and chill
