Proper stout & good selection of beers n snacks a proper pub. A shame old Fred Dibnah isn't still about up that chimney across the road ????

Always have a few drinks in the fox and goose when I'm hiking!! Warm and friendly staff and customers. Probably my favourite pub, the raspberry cider wasn't refrigerated so was given a pint glass with plenty of ice. Fantastic idea to get a drink and glass holder whilst safely getting up to the rooftop terrace!!! Your made to feel special , a bit like a VIP!!! Next time I'll have a pie!!!! ????

Best pub in England. Affordable, cozy, great drinks, lovely staff and great music when they put on events. I'm so grateful to have this pub in my doorstep

One of my favorite pubs in Yorkshire. A coop with great beer and wonderful ambiance, but it's the patrons and staff that make the place what it is. A gem.

Just out of the town centre, this cosy little pub is well worth a visit for the Real ale fan. Half a dozen or so casks served in traditional surroundings Recommended. ????

Great find this one. When the weather is good the terraced gardens at the back are a must. Just keep keep going up, lovely secluded spot at the top with views.

Can't comment on the pub inside, we sat outside and didn't go in. Plenty of outside seating, some right by the canal. Table service was quick and efficient, plenty of staff. The food looked fantastic, we only had a bowl of chips, homemade and delicious.
