I recently visited Oceana Restaurant at Hilton JBR for their iftar buffet featuring Middle Eastern cuisine. While the ambiance was nice, it did feel a bit outdated. The waiters were welcoming and attentive, which was a plus. However, I was disappointed that the dishes didn't taste as good as I had hoped, especially given the price. Additionally, some of the dishes were served cold. Nevertheless, the unlimited beverage service and live singer were nice touches that added to the dining experience. Overall, my visit to Oceana Restaurant was decent, but nothing extraordinary.

Had iftar here. Definitely not worth the hype. Food wasn’t hot. Taste wasn’t very good either. Not worth the money paid. They ran out of the drinks during Iftar.

5 star for the food. We went to Christmas dinner buffet here, the amount of food was proper. The taste was really good. The desserts were amazing! The place is nice..good for family, friends, couples and even people who are eating alone. Staff are nice and fast. -1 star because 1 lady staff kept asking for the voucher. I brought 1 voucher from Groupon which was 150aed. For my friend, we told her we’d pay via card which is 250aed regular price..told her let us sit and eat first. So she led us to our table. In the middle of dining, we were getting some food she came and asked again. Told her we’ll pay after. It’s a bit rude, honestly. Anyway, good overall. We enjoyed the food ????

PS. You can park in the hotel. It’s difficult to find a parking in JBR. In the hotel, it’s for free. The security will just ask for your details like mobile number. You can also tell them you have a reservation at 1 of their restaurants.

It’s our first buffet experience in Dubai so I choose Hilton. Unfortunately we’re so disappointed with the food. We came 8th of October, Saturday Seafood Night. There’s few seafood, nothing special and food is not really good even the desserts (though it looks beautiful). We didn’t really enjoy and I was apologizing to my husband because It was a surprise dinner treat. Not what you expect from a 5 star hotel restaurant. I regret buying this buffet dinner in Groupon. Spent AED 258 for two.

Hilton hotel's buffet restaurant that is popular amongst hotel guests, but open to outsiders alike.

It offers seafood night on Thursdays with a couple of live grill stations - one for seafood, another for meat. For seafood night, the live seafood station includes fish, prawns and squid but unfortunately no lobster/crayfish. The cold seafood section includes oysters, crab, clams, squid and prawns. The live grilled meat station includes beef, chicken and lamb.

Other food includes appetisers such as sushi and sashimi, salads and mezze; through to some cooked main course dishes, and cheeses and desserts. Overall there's quite a lot of choice for an all-round buffet meal, but overall food quality is average and the seafood in particular is so-so for a "seafood night".

Service is friendly and helpful, with staff efficiently assisting with the "canteen style" serving of food, clearing plates and serving drinks.

There's a couple of packages available - buffet with soft drinks package or buffet with alcohol including beer, wine and some basic spirits. However, note that the venue closes at 10:30pm and it starts to get quiet well before then.

Overall, a decent experience which can be improved with better seafood for a seafood night.

Went for the Eid Buffet. Lovely staff who are so happy to help and assist. I had a buffet here last year and the menu changes. I actually preferred the desert selection last year. However, food was well prepared, fresh and suited everyone is our group. Valet parking is available and is free. You have the option to sit in the light glass conservatory to the left as you enter the restaurant, which would be lovely in the cooler months. I think the decor could do with a little updating. With the buffet option you have the choice of pool access too. Would definitely go back again.

Just came for a dinner
It was an Iftar Ramadan buffet but my expectations about this place were a little too high
But overall everything was okay
Specially the guys who took care of us
Is you know about Arabic culture this is not the best place for an Iftar.
