Very traditional bakery , they have verity of things, they have the traditional oven which I adore how they bake using stone oven not the modern once.

The prices are reasonable and affordable, I have paid 13 for one cheese,one potato, one meet naan.

Worth trying, they don’t have delivery
But I would come again and pock these cheese rolls , they were the best for me.

I would love to try something else next time.

Well this is not what actual bread is .

They are not mixing flour . Bread is white and not cooked properly

- Irani bread
Very balanced suitable alone or as a sandwich

- Afghani bread
A little chewy very thick but super

- Pakistani bread
It has more air, more fluffier than afghani

Great historical spot. If you like ruins then stop here as it has some great history and depictions of what the abbey would have looked like.

Beautiful place to visit. The size of the Abbey is huge.

This is a Historic Scotland sight but you don't have to pay to enter. It is an unattended site with no guide, shop or toilets.

However it is a great site to visit with helpful message boards and gorgeous views.

We stopped here as part of a Stirling/Cambuskenneth walking loop.

If you go to cambuskennth village walk over to riverside take ferry road and go to the abbey at cambuskennth

A little bit of history but nothing too much to look at here. You can go inside the building but only into the ground floor. There are stairs going up the tower but there closed off with a padlocked gate which is a shame.
Some old graves withing the grounds and a few information boards with a bit of history on them.

The Bell Tower is still standing and is quite a beautiful old building. Sadly, the abbey itself is just ruins now. There are many plaques around to tell what each area is believed to have been. You can only visit Cambuskenneth Abbey between April and September. Whilst it would be far more pleasant to visit on a bright sunny day, we still enjoyed walking around in the light rain we had the day we went there.

Cambuskenneth Abbey is lovely, peaceful, calming place to visit, particularly on a sunny day. Good information. Space to wander. Seats available.
