Awesome Mutton Biryani. 17 AED. Well cooked. On demand potato. Tender meat. Mind blowing taste. Highly recommend..
Mutton Biryani, Mutton Kadai, Mutton Nihari, Mutton Korma. I m a mutton lover. U can try all this dish in chicken also.

While in Dubai, a good biryani was high on my list of items I wanted to try. After considerable research, Pak Liyari seemed to continually feature on lists of the city's best biryani, and so my brother and I headed towards Bur Dubai on an exceptionally rainy day in Dubai. Unfortunately, when we arrived just past 9pm we were informed the restaurant had completely sold out of biryani, and so we vowed to return the following day.

Arriving close to 4pm on our second try the restaurant was packed, with a constant flow of diners coming in and out. We took a seat on the ground floor and after some deliberation with our server, opted for a lamb biryani with half masala, a green chicken curry and lamb karahi. We weren’t expecting to pay an exorbitant amount but were still surprised with the extremely low cost of the restaurant, with our total well under 60 dhs.

The dishes arrived simultaneously, with the biryani crammed on a smaller plate for us to unload on a larger serving bowl. We also ordered a naan to accompany the curries - to our dismay - the bread was lukewarm rather than piping hot. Having chosen Pak Liyari for its biryani we decided to try it first, it was exceptional, full of delicate flavours and pull apart lamb. The assortment of spices made for a delicious medley but somehow were still individual standouts, and my brother and I did not hesitate to proclaim it as the best biryani we’ve ever had.

Following the quality of the biryani it was hard for any dish to compare, and the chicken curry and lamb karahi fell short. The flavours were solid but the dishes became monotonous after a few bites especially with the naan.

Overall, when in Dubai again I would not hesitate to return to Pak Liyari for their exceptional biryani.

We tried their famous Chicken Biryani, but taste wise it was just okay. I had better Biryani before. Each Biryani cost around AED 15. I have seen many people trying their gravy dishes. They might be good.

I have walked past this place so many times in the last 2 years and I regret not going in earlier. This place has the best Pakistani food and definitely the best biryani (refer pic). I’ve been there twice now in 3 days and I’ve tried the Mutton Paya and the Biryani and I can’t wait to go back for more. Definitely do try this restaurant. Paya was AED 12 and Biryani was for 17 (February 2023).

Go to eat Biryani there as it's much popular restaurant but honestly speaking not much impressive. As mostly people said. Even riata is not served with Biryani on asking said it is paid item if I like to take I have to pay extra for that.i recently visited again there this time I enjoy the food there it's different than past time I feel good taste of Chicken Biryani.

Overall: Staff were great and the vibe in the restaurant was good. Food was ok but good value for money.

Staff:. They were friendly and helpful but I went when there were not too busy.

Decor:. Nothing fancy but clean.

Food: Bit disappointed as it was featured by a local food blogger. Price was very reasonable which gives it an ok value.

One of the best biryani and one of the worst quantity.

Being a biryani lover I found out that the taste they serve is one of the best but quantity is very less that you have to order at least 2 servings even if you are not a heavy eater.

When I complained about the quantity the waiter said “We are serving the same quantity from past 19 years” this statement doesn’t make it right. Well I had to order Daal channa and roti to fulfill my hunger.

Excellent taste overall.

Ambiance is just okay which was expected but they really need to clean their restroom area. It was literally stinking.

Its not worth the hype.
Average biryani. I tried both chicken & mutton. It was ok for the price.

Also tried Chicken Karahi, Mutton korma and channa chicken with fresh roti. It was also ok except there was too much oil!!

Finding parking is bit difficult.
