I ordered an extremely basic strawberry tart. The strawberries were fresh, but the tart base was either too hard, stale or both.

Staff are polite and respectful but the pistachios pastry is terrible, has nothing to do with the French bakery, soft mushy seemed like a 3 days old croissant

Cups are plastic and no small piece of cake yet the taste is decent..

This little Paul's has one of the best server. Rachel gave my daughter and I an excellent service. She was so friendly and helpful. Whilst drinking my coffee I observed how she was constantly serving at the till as well as attending to her customers at the tables. She was ensuring that everyone was happy. Usually servers hide behind the counter, but Rachel was doing something at every given second. When I came to leave I wanted to bring my tray to her and she came running to take it away from me. I couldn't resist to tell her that her hard work was not gone unnoticed and told her as her customer I was highly grateful for her service. She really made a positive impact on my daughter and I.
I shall be returning even if I don't fancy a bite or a drink!

Whilst we love the food, the cafe starts only at 9AM, though the website says 8AM start????. Need an early start to the day with a good cup of coffee
