Excellent service, stunning deserts and the coffee is more than amazing. The French toast was very soft and the mango pudding was one of the best I’ve ever eaten! You have to try “PLAIN”!!

Having eaten at AFTER YOU CAFE in Bangkok over the past decade, I was very excited to finally see a cafe offering similar kakigori treats and Shibuya honey toasts!

As a mango lover, I absolutely had to order the mango kakigori. We also settled on the cinnamon French toast shibuya honey toast. Both were tasty; however the cinnamon French toast had too much filling in the center which left it gummy and uncooked, not the best texture or taste in the mouth — too overwhelming.

Coffee was very delicious. Will be back for the kakigoris.

Was doubtful about price and portion at first as I have tried the same kind of kakigori in another shop but price is a bit cheaper.

We were warmly welcomed with friendly staff who spent time explaining the menu selections to us when realizing it was our 1st time.

We ordered strawberry cheesecake kakigori (52AED) & kinder toast (50AED).

Kakigori came in a small size but wait…it was well compacted and full of flavours & cheesecake was real treasure. It’s real cheese cake, not cake with cheese like what I tried in another shop.

What impressed me most is it didn’t melt and became watery even though I spent time enjoying it. Definitely worth the price & will come back for this for sure.

Toast was also yummy with melting chocolate in the middle. I’m not quite a fan of toast so that’s just what my hubby said & he was loving it.

As an Asian looking for authentic Asian dessert, this place is on my fav list now :)

Best Kakigori/Bingsu ive had in Dubai so far. Its abit far from our place though but worth the visit. Their portion is good enough for 2-3 people to share. Their ice was the softest ive ever had, felt liking eating a cloud :). Highly recommended

This is a place to enjoy Japanese desserts! I ordered 3 desserts : strawberry cheesecake kakigori, Honey toast and chocolate “bundt” plain. My favorite is Honey toast with full flavor of butter and honey! Kakigori was fluffy with strawberry sauce it was so refreshing! However, the chocolate bundt was a little bit too sweet for me. Overall, all these desserts are great for sharing! This is the best japanese café that I can find in dubai. Moreover, the staff is very friendly and professional!

Let me start with the service in this place, the working team is very welcoming and very professional! I have tried so far two things: the strawberry cheesecake kakigori and a tiramisu. I wasn’t impressed with the cheesecake, maybe it is new to me but it looks beautiful, while the tiramisu is amazing, sublime and very very tasty. Since then I got hooked to it. I bought two for my birthday. Their tiramisu has medium even cream biscuit consistency with a beautiful coffee flavor! TIRAMISU HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Well done

Awesome innovative selection of desserts, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great service with a smile and warm welcoming, I always order birthday cakes from Plain because of the fantastic quality and unique flavors, I love the Coconut Cake very yummy and light ???? their sponge Vanilla and Strawberry cake, cheese cake and the delicious bites. Everything is perfect and the good thing is i eat desserts with zero guilt ☺️
