Decent car park.

£2 to park for the whole day (up to 6pm) only have to cross the road and you're at the beach about a 30 minute walk to the pier and town centre. Pay and display machine wasn't working when we went so had to pay via app.

Couldn't get a Covid test, took them 5 minutes to open the gate. Only to be told they were having technical issues, and they didn't know how long it would take. Told to phone and re-book the test, which luckily enough we managed to get a test done on the same day, at the College Campus at Colchester ????

Shabby but clean public toilets. Cracked tiles and flaking paint. Very small cubicles, almost have to be an acrobat to get round and close the door. Very basic facilities but it is clean and usable. Didn't notice if they have a disabled facilities toilet

Great location to the beach. No payment required. Please be aware there are time limits

Cheap car park, after 3 hours you need to pay £2. Has public toilets and quick access to the beaches

Went here for a PCR test. We were the only car there. Didn't get to see the view though.

Great place to park down the quieter part of the town and close to toilets
