The online teaching last year was very poor.
There was no live class or teaching, just online exercises.
The evaluation of the teacher at the end of the year was completely careless, we contacted the head teacher and the principal and no-one bothered to come back to us because they were already leaving the school at the end of the year and they did not want to have any trouble.

There are some good teachers there that have helped my kids a lot and the staff is admissions and reception are lovely, but the education of a child cant just depend on the quality of a particular teacher, it has to come from the quality as school, and I did not feel that quality in the school when I asked for help and I did not even get a response.

If you have a good teacher you will be ok, if not everything will be a disaster.

We have been part of the Ranches Primary School community for 5 years from when my eldest joined. The school is absolutely fantastic. They go above and beyond to develop your childrens learning. They are a smaller school but that only adds to their excellence. They have a wonderful inclusion department and the teachers and staff are extremely helpful and supportive. Every child is important and the SLT are able to build a relationship with every child. I would completely recommend this school.

I’ve had my two daughters attend Ranches Primary School. Over three years all the teachers have demonstrated excellent teaching which has shown in both my daughters progress. I can not praise each teacher enough for the support and encouragement they gave to myself and my children when times have been difficult and for the praise and recognition for when the children are doing well. Thank you RPS for being the perfect learning environment for my children to thrive and have fun learning.
Over three happy years of experience, I Highly recommend RPS to begin your child’s education journey.

We joined the RPS community just over 2 years ago and our twins have never been happier. They have excelled in all areas but the main thing for us was that they were happy and confident. RPS have given them the environment to flourish. It’s just a shame my girls can’t continue high school there, being only primary.

Bad experience, unprofessional staff and management, they never listened to parents complaints!
Any one can be a teacher there, a music teacher teaches year 4 all the subjects including Art and ICT.
PE teacher changed his mind and wants to be a teacher for year 3 and teach all the subjects, a journalist teachs year 3 and became a head of science. A mommy registered her kids and wants to be a teacher...
THERE IS NO MATH ,Art, ICT, or SCIENCES teacher in the whole school!!!!
If u speaks English and you want to be a teacher..you can be a teacher in this school what ever your background is....maybe you will be a head of science and you don't have any specialty qualification in it!! if u live in the area and u think its near, yes it is but it is faaaaaar away from educational ethics and values and professionalism

Bad experience in online teaching last year during the pandemic as well, there were no virtual classes, just copy paste worksheet activities from educational websites and YouTube videos, they assumed all parents are educated and can deliver the subjects to their kids!!
And when the kids returned back to school we discovered its the same as online copy paste materials without any efforts seen from the teachers.
Last thing happened in this school one of the teachers was treating my son badly and shouting, screaming at him all the time, throwing his books in the floor, call him bad names, encouraging other kids to bullying him...
and my son was scared to tell me, until one of the parents contacted me and told me that her daughter was scared and she refused to go to school because of that teacher's screaming on my son, it ended up by my son chchanging his classroom and attending sessions with a psychologist

I had bad experience too in this school, teachers don’t know how to deal with the children, and always make harsh and misplaced remarks. Teachers must learn the psychology of the child in order to be qualified to deal with young children, without instilling, fear and insecurities. When you talk with the top management regarding that, they always protect their staff, never be in the side of parent’s.

Was hesistant to send my daughter to a newly opened school without any kHDA ratings yet but decided to go ahead with it.
Honestly it was the best choice. We love the school, the teachers and the environment. My daughter is generally a very fast learner and the teachers have been encouraging her further.
