I usually order occasion cakes from the 2 well known cake bakeries in Jumeirah. Took a chance with Rise and was blown away! The vanilla milk crumb cake was one of the best bday cakes I’ve had in Dubai. Fresh, moist and delicious. The custom cake menu is limited to a selection of flavors and icing options so you won’t get a Mickey Mouse cake but they’re very good at what they do. The customer service is also fantastic. I highly recommend them.

Not only is the space aesthetically pleasing with a minimalist design, but their cakes are absolutely delicious. We tried the chocolate, peanut butter, and the vanilla milk crumb (which was my favorite because it was subtle yet the perfect amount of sweetness). Their cakes come in small boxes and can feed 2-3 people. I’m excited for them to start doing their own baking classes!

It’s the kind of cake that you and your friends gather around to take bites of, and as you each do, you cup your hands underneath your chin to catch the falling bits (waste nothing!) and collectively go “mmmmmmmmmm!!” as you bite into the layers of bliss, nodding your heads in sync as you savour the blessing!

Worth ditching your gluten-intolerant friends over.

Also they’re super cute, which makes them perfect for occasions as well private guilty pleasures.

The absolute best cakes/cake pops I have had in Dubai. Not only are the cakes gorgeous, but they taste phenomenal. The space is artistic and I absolutely loved the workshop I took part in. The vegan chocolate cake is particularly sensational!
