Such a lovely space. We enjoyed walking around the main area and down to the weir and through the forest area to the bridge. Definitely want to come back for a whole day, we saw lots of groups of people on the grass with friends and family and gazebos..... such a great idea! Daughter loved the playground and the wooden animals/features. Lots of benches and spaced all around the main park.
Toilets were closed when we tried to go before leaving, tough when you have a 6 year old who had been drinking a lot due to the warm weather!

Beautiful place! Car parking on site, loads of picnic tables around the field, and right on the river. Toilet block and snack hut, didn't try it, but it looked good.
Good for dog walkers.
Easily accessible if you're in a wheelchair and the paths are flat.
Well worth a visit

Really clean, public toilets, little kiosk. Nice size for a walk with my 8 and 4 year old. Lovely play area that looks brand new. Not much shade so take a parasol if staying all day. Only £2.50 to park all day at the weekend/bank hol. Interesting features such as a loch, meadow and cows grazing.

Picturesque area with a lovely little bridge and long walks along the river, past the lock.
The main park area haa lots of picnic benches, large car park (£3 for the day), and toilets.
This part of the River Medway is used as a floodplain to stop Maidstone from flooding, so it gets very waterlogged and muddy. At some points the mud came up above my ankles. Many people wear wellies to come here, even when it hasn't rained for days.
The river banks are very slippery and if you fell in it would be hard to get out. The river runs fast here. I don't think it's a suitable place to take kids and dogs.

Great place to go for walks, £2 for the car park, lasting all day, clean and neat toilet. Wear appropriate footwear as very muddy in some places.

Beautiful country park on the river Medway with great walks. Car park uses Ringo but make sure you use the right code.

Glorious walks along the river. Good sized car park and lovely tea shack.

Great place for all ages. Dog walking routes and walking trails for the adventurous. Picnic bench dotted throughout and a playing area for the kids too. Right by the river. 2 car parks (pay by app or machine) and toilet facilities. There is a small cafe near the entrance for snacks and drinks hot or cold. Great for a family day out or a quiet walk on your own.
