Quality of food is good, but the level of service is very pathetic. Less than minimal number of staff to cater to a normal crowd. The staff needs proper training overall, totally dissatisfied with our iftar experience. I had good expectations after reading the reviews online. For the price of 199 AED per person, its totally not worth it, very limited selection on the main course & dessert section. The idea of serving customers the entrees on the table is total joke. Even after repeatedly asking for things and being assured to be served by various staff no one really bothers, had to wait for 40 mins. In short I was totally disappointed with our iftar experience.

When Ever I dine in Shayan restaurant I feel like my home, best consistency of quality in the past four years I have experienced.

They have nice set menu, where I got the chance to try several Iranian dishes. Was really amazed with the food taste, quality, quantity and presentation. Don't remember had a better Iranian in Dubai. The place was cozy, quite and well decorated. The staff were nice and welcoming. The price is little high but come on, this is fine dining in a 5 star hotel.

Will go there again for sure.

Wife and I been enjoying the exceptional food, service and ambiance at Shayan Restaurant over the past four years - by far the best Persian cousin, anywhere; all details attended to. So held a sit down dinner party for 80 people there recently; and chef Sharif and Manager Subash, and their staff were most courteous, and accommodating, and went way out of their way to please us, and our guest who were late and kept arriving over two hours, instead of being there at 6:30. The food quality and freshness was just the same as serving only one table - many thanks.

This is a fairly new restaurant based within Al Ghurair's new Rayhaan by Rotana hotel. Ample parkingspace since it is connected to Al Ghurair's new mall extension. The food holds its own even when compared to other Iranian options available in the same area for similar prices. The sharing platter with various types of meat and kebabs was nicely spiced and done to perfection. Staff and the service is top notch. The freshly baked bread is well nice.

If you're looking for a 1 meter kebab for a reasonable price of AED260 then this is the place for you
The staff are very welcoming
The place is very big and can accommodate a lot of people
I just wish they had dim lighting and a licence
But on yo the food, the appetizers highlight was the eggplant with eggs and tomatoe sauce
The main course was grills and off course the 1 meter kebab, chicken cubes and beef cubes
Highly recommended
