It's take away and delivery service only, so definitely no atmosphere. However, the FOOD is southeast Asian Chinese home-cooked goodness. The best. This is my 2nd time to order from them, and the taste is reliably delicious.

For anyone craving for the taste of Singapore or hokkien cuisine, this is your answer.

I love, love, love the food here! ????
My bf is Singaporean and was actually craving some comfort foods and this place was recommended to us in a google search. It did not disappoint.

Our favourite dish is the ‘Singapore style Mala Xiang Guo’ - the flavours just punch you in the throat (in a good way? ????) as it’s definitely spicy that you start to sweat but it tastes so good so you actually can’t stop ????
The dish contains shellfish but we had the prawns and squid taken out bc I’m allergic and they replaced it with protein of our choice (we opted for more tofu and chicken slices).

We’ve also tried other dishes but that one stands out the most.
Their ‘Black Truffle’ and ‘Cheesy Mushroom Chicken’ siew mai are also really good!
(I’ll be sure to add pictures next time)

The prices of their dishes are really well priced for such high quality food which stays consistent. Every. Single. Time.
I can’t wait for our next visit to JLT so I can grab myself a few more of their dishes ????

It’s unfortunate that it’s 45mins away from where we live, so we usually drive down to grab it.
Please open one in Downtown Shiok! ????

Ordered the laksa with additional fried beancurd. Really good laksa, taste of Singapore. Laksa also comes with sambal. Fried beancurd skin goes really well with the Laksa gravy. Recommend if you’re in Dubai and miss Singapore food

Ordered delivery for laksa and ngoh hiang. Taste and texture held up very well for delivery. Laksa has sambal and generous portion of dried shrimps and ngoh hiang came with sweet sauce. ????

I’ve ordered from shiok several times and have never been disappointed. They have new dishes every month and it’s always a delight to be able to try those out! Our favorites are the Curry Laksa, the stir fried clams, and the Kaya mantou! The last time we ordered was on new year’s and I was surprised to find a lovely gift of airtight containers along with the food. It was such a sweet and pleasant surprise!
