Small Steps Learning Difficulties Center

Small Steps has transformed my son's life (and mine!). My son is autistic / Non-Verbal and started attending Small Steps earlier this year having been to many other schools in Dubai previous to that. The company and staff are really professional, genuinely care about the well being and progress of their children and are extremely flexible with parents on many levels. It is a safe, fun and interactive environment located within a Private School in Dubai, meaning that 'inclusion' lessons/activities can happen seamlessly (post-covid). I would highly recommend them to any parents with children on the spectrum. God bless them!

One of the most difficult situations parents face is finding out their child is diagnosed with autism. Not knowing what the future holds and how to deal with this unknown and misunderstood condition is very stressful.

Finding the right Autism Therapy Team and program is crucial in helping the child overcome this condition. It also helps the parents not only cope with the situation but also actively participate in improving the condition of the child.

When our son was diagnosed with autism we tried a few autism therapy programs with minor success... the programs were not comprehensive enough and the staff experience was relatively lacking.

I am very blessed to have found the Small Steps Learning Difficulties Center and Team. The programs offered are extremely well structured and comprehensive, we immediately saw improvement in our son's behavior within the first few days of therapy.

The Small Steps Team are amazing, they offer the utmost care, compassion, and attention. From the moment we enrolled our child we we were given a very warm welcome into the Small Steps family!

The most important factor, however, is the educational future of the child which unfortunately in Dubai is very difficult to achieve for autistic children. Almost all schools are not equipped with comprehensive programs for special needs children. These schools would not accept an autistic child leaving very limited options for the parents in providing quality education for their children.

Small Steps has an amazing integration program with two GEMS schools allowing autistic children to be enrolled in the schools while receiving both the high quality education and Autism therapy!

I strongly urge families facing similar situation to ours to consider enrolling the child with the Small Steps team for both the therapy and the school integration if they can. This is one of the best and I believe the only program available in Dubai offering such advantage.
